  • Afternoon everyone.

been at work and had a very boring day, tomorrow is going to be just as boring but an early finish is in order again, yeah.

I've put some stuff away and done a bit of dusting and now intend to watch Prescilla Queen of the Desert I recorded the other day.

Lizzie, well done on not having an overdraft facility!

    Shoe girl, there's always tomorrow!

    Lots of love,

You are right Beanie, not cheap and so unnecessary. I can probably just about cover the cost of mine but my daughter lives on a part time wage and is struggling without this added expense. What is so galling is we could get them fixed and then it could happen again because it is just drunken idiots out to make themselves look good in front of their friends.

We do have the community policeman visiting us on Tuesday, I know he can't do anything but at least he is making an effort to come and talk to us.

I would love to move from this road and spoke to the letting agents of this property yesterday to see if they have a bungalow on the books. he said they might have one coming up later in January that has a garage and a driveway that would hold three cars! It probably won't happen but in my head I have almost moved in! I am not even thinking about the cost, the fact that it is a bungalow with parking makes it very attractive. My daughter can't cope with the stairs here anymore, so every time something is needed from upstairs I have to go and get it and the stairs are incredibly steep here. I spent 26 years in a flat and am surprised at how much I find the stairs a bother even without mobility problems!

Still it probably won't happen but a girl can dream!

In other news the Homeserve man is on his way - he has phoned me to let me know so hopefully the drain can be unblocked and then I just have to work out how and when to get the cars fixed.

Oh SRM, MEN! honestly - they do live on another planet! Hopefully when you have calmed down you will be able to laugh and tell him that if you had worn a garter, it would be slightly more exotic than a hair scrunchie!
I thought that SRM's OH thought the person she was having an affair with was the one wearing the garter! :o

Happy Christmas and NY everyone. Nice to see a few more faces on chat - big hugs to Lou, PAP and Butti (and everyone else too).

Afternoon all. I'm in work and it is verrry boring, just me and the boss in so there is not a lot of chat to partake of!

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Afternoon all

Been to Iceland to fetch some food and only spent £9 so I'm very happy with that, still very impressed that I dont have an overdraft anywhere anymore.

Got a few other houseworky jobs to do this afternoon, but I also desperately need to find a job, I hate being this poor and not knowing when money will be coming in :( I find it very scary.

    Hope you are all well
