  • SRM cant believe he actually thought a scruchie was a garter. I agree with the others that you have to be mega skinny to get a scunchie as a garter, in fact lol i am skinny and just had to give it ago!!!! didnt manage to get to my knee and my husband walked in when i did it and thought i'd lost my marbles lol!!1

I'd be lucky to get a scrunchie over my big toe let alone anywhere else! (Sorry SRM but that did make me chuckle)

    Morning

I have got a blocked drain - well it has been blocked for weeks actually but today I decided to phone the Homeserve people who my landlady has got a policy with, so they can come and unblock it at some point. It is an emergency service and I have now been waiting for 18 mins on the phone! If I had a burst pipe or something I would be at my wits end by now! As it happens it is not causing any problems apart from beginning to smell now, which was what propmpted me to actually phone and also because I am off work this week so thought it would be an ideal time for them to call.

I really want to go and have a shower though, but don't want to hang up now after waiting all this time!

Any luck with the drains yet tenmah??

I've just started getting organised with the diary I had for xmas, wrote in my dd's etc up to the end of June. Just the ones that come out of my bank though, as I plan to use it as a spending diary too, its a lovely A6 page a day one :)
Then when I go to close my barclays account tomorrow I will nip to poundland and buy an A4 week to view one and a calendar to keep track of all our incomings and outgoings :)

I have also just paid the £60 to the credit card after the phonecall from that annoying man this morning!!

still need bread and milk but will hopefully get those after I finish work tonight.

    xxxxx
