Can't find a region unlock code for Sony DVP SR 500H DVD Player

I just got this DVD player, but as much as I google and search, I can't find an unlock code for it anywhere. The model is Sony DVP-SR-500H. Is there any way I can unlock this? Or possibly a way to find the code out myself? I have no idea how people find those twenty step unlock codes for some players on their own, but if it is doable...
