I used to keep guinea pigs and they were fine in the greenhouse or shed in the winter. Just make sure you put lots of straw in for them to burrow underFluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Hi, Ive just moved my 2 rabbits inside the garden shed. This will keep the draft away. Put plenty of straw inside the hutch so they can snuggle into it. They have survived 2 winters (touchwood) hope they will survive a 3rd.
I also brought an electric heater, but as of yet Ive not had to use it.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
our two piggies live indoors full time
They dont smell, and love being close to us. I'd be scared they would find it too cold outside now! Though when I was young, our guinea pigs used to live in our outhouse / unused garage, and they were fine all seasons

Hi
What about a microwave hot water bottle.lots of straw.0 -
I've got a rabbit and 3 pigs who live indoors. The male pig's urine is stinky  He needs cleaning out more than the others. We were thinking of converting the brick shed into a mini barn, complete with a little door that would let them out into a huge run during the day
But as we've had them indoors since they were born, we were told they might not adjust to cold temps in the winter :sad:Bulletproof0 -
Hiya
We have a board specifically for pets these days (this is a very old thread) so I have moved the posts across there for you.
