Hi Waveydave, I seem to be posting on all your threads !!

I use MS Money 98 and wouldn't be without it.

Once you have set it up it is easy to use and manage your money.

The best part for me is to be able to see how much cash I should have on a certain date after cheques / DDs / SOs etc have left my account.

It has certainly saved the dreaded bank charges and how anyone can live without a 'money mangement' programme is beyond me !!

    Highly recommended - 10 / 10
Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.
  • I use good ol' pen and paper. lol.
    Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
    Que sera, sera. <3
  • I use Acemoney Lite which is free but can only deal with one account..but it is useful for budgeting and keeping a track on expenditure. I am also thinking about the New Tesco's personal finance software which will cost about £10.

    Hi

The only thing i dont like about Microsoft Money is theres no way to put a recurring transaction in for something thats paid say on the last friday of the month(wages for example)not a great issue but when everything else is so well automated it be good to be able to just set it up and for money to keep a tab on this also.

I think best software is Quicken. I downloaded version 2007 and I can tell you it does everything you need.

It doesn't come with UK support but if you were in USA, you could download your statements online and update the accounts.
    :p
