How to increase your limit with barclaycard?

Ive just got a new cc from barclaycard with a 580 limit. its a inital card. Is there any thing that i can to will make me get a limit increase in 3 months times. (i.e pay the full balance instead of the minuium??) thanks!! .already had the card for three months. also a additional holder always uses the account mainly,not me. is that gonna make a different?

Youve had it 3 months ?
they 'may' up the limit in your 5th month if you have been managing it well.
I doubt they would agree to a request before youve had the card for at least 6 months.0 -

You can always ask, the worst they can do is say no, if they do then ask when they will increase your limit (I suspect 5 or 6 months will be the minimum).0
