haha
I meant without going into the realms of sh*t
LOL - being you I kinda figured that was the case
. Sadly it looks like thats how shopping for a new telly with my bro will be going though. I keep trying to educate him and get him to grow some balls and set the budget for what he wants rather than his missus dictating but 5 years on its still a losing battle. Its not as if he's skint either nor am I wanting to be OTT.
His missus has informed him he can "have" £500 of his own money to buy a 40-42" TV, Blu-Ray player and a stand. Worst part is for another £250, he could get a THX certified telly with FreeviewHD and FreesatHD in as well as a player and TV stand. Instead it'll probably be a low rent LG or similar he'll end up with. Felt like letting him have my Panny cheap and putting the money towards the 50" version of the same.

It isn't a new TV that he needs, it's a new Wife..

That Lenovo has impressive spec for £299, but can be reduced by a further £5 if buying instore by picking up a Comet card from the checkout desks. Trouble is, you have to register it online and then have to wait up to 24 hours before it kicks in.0
