But that means that i should seend my tax return for 2010-11 after 5 april 2011. Because i see on hmrc deadlines-penalties site that the paper tax return, it must reach HMRC by midnight on 31 October 2010! i'm a little confuse

the date of 31 october 2010 refer to the tax year 6th april 2009 to 5th april 2010 ...
you wouldn't need to send in a tax form until 31 october 2011 (obviously really as you wouldn't know how much you earned until after april 2011)0
