i have only ever used ebay.co.uk assuming that ebay.co was for other countries and so would not post to us however, in error this morning went on the .com one and founf that not to be the case and the postage was even uite reasonable considering the distance involved. especially when the postage is often hiked up on .co.uk to cover costs and not needing to lay out so much on the fees. has anyone else found this and what purchases have you made at bargain price? can anyone even recommend the .com site for specifics?

.com is the american site, .co.uk is the uk one.
Item numbers work on all sites worldwide, and it will convert the bid into the local currency too

Hi,
One of the good things about listing your item on the .com site of eBay is that when someone browses all of your items for sale (view sellers other items) on the .co.uk eBay site, they also get to see all of the items that you listed on the .com site too.
(if that makes sense)
Regards,
Michael
