Payday here yesterday, bills all paid, just need a few things to clear and then see how much I can throw at that credit card!
So nice to still be in credit after all the bills are paid now that I have got my overdraft down so much....0 -
I get paid every Thursday, which sounds like it would be great but in fact it means there's dribs and drabs coming in each week and bills have to be split evenly. It gets messy at times

Got paid last week. £1005 in, £730 out instantly. The remainder has to stretch for a calender month!"I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0

Pay day today for me and practically every penny is accounted for. I've cut my budget to the bare bones this month and am relying on my Paypal/Amazon earnings to top me up. Wouldn't it be lovely to get a payslip and know that it was all yours and you didn't have to spend it on credit card repayments?!!Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24

I was so relieved this morning that I could go get a top up for my mobile - I've been annoying everyone by ignoring texts for the last week!
I've just done up my expenses though for October and I'll be having another £75 in a couple of weeks - about £60 is work stuff that I had to get on the cc (train tickets etc!) but £15 is mileage which I'd already paid for the petrol up front!
Thankfully this month I've got some overtime which has given me £85 - which will be my christmas shopping budget for this year!Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

All our money apart from one payment comes in weekly which I am so pleased about, would hate to work it out monthly. I am good with money but that would make me SQUIRM!! I have all the DDs etc sorted so not all at once. Rent etc is weekly. One day I might be more organised...........
