Don't you just hate the end of the month when you're living off last bits in the freezer and something always crops up meaning you have to spend the money you don't have? Luckily my DH gets paid on the last working day of the month but I still have to wait til the 5th! booo!
On a brighter note we're starting our November challenge today so will let you know how we get on!

Yeh - this month was pretty tough - lived on a bag of sausages, a bag of potatoes, a bag of pasta & some beans for the last week, but I didnt go over my overdraft, or borrow money (havent had a credit card since May)
Got paid today though, unfortunatly most of it will be gone by tonight on debts and bills but i'm looking forward to food shopping later - Morrisons for the offers of course!0 -

Pay day here too. I was meant to be getting a pay rise too, which should have been given 2 years ago. NHS have promised we'll get it before Christmas, but then again we were meant to get it this month and 2 years ago.0

Have my weekly 'pocket money' allowance worked out and am ready to rock and roll with the first month of my new budget."Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it." (Montgomery, L.M.(1908). Anne of Green Gables.)
