currently having to run IE with add-ons disabled.
anyone know which add-ons are known to conflict with each other
would like to know as cannot play media on some websites at the mo.

I suggest you ditch Internet Explorer, its a terrible browser, and plagued by many security vulnerabilities. Suggestions: Google Chrome, Firefox, or Opera
Another suggestion for media player, i suggest you get Videolan Player, aka VLC, its a bit of a Swiss Army knife when it comes to media types, it can play pretty much all media types, without having to install separate codecs. Its really good.0
