What do i do?

Well my giro didnt come and today went in for a counter payment and got accepted but they would not issue a giro (dont know why) So had to get my freind to let me use his bank (i dont have one) And they said my money would be there before 4pm went and checked no money! Jobcentre closed and no money. Any ideas or am i screwed untill wednesday?

Im not sure why they wouldnt give me giro they said it would need to go into a bank account i said i didnt have one but they said the only way for me to get paid is for me to get a freind ect to use there bank as a 3rd party.
I went to the JC after but was closed this was around 4.20pm
Im ok untill next week as im staying with my mum for christmas but what do i do next week (wednesday) As the jobcentre staff can sometimes be unhelpfull.0 -
just tell them u didnt recive it and they should sort it out for you0

Where i am there is a post backlog only just reciving post from the 14th of decemeber and i am in the process of opening a PO account (just waiting to get my birth cetificate as my passport is out of date)0

Thats easier said than done, I was without a bank account for a number of Years, with no passport or driving licence, its next to impossible to get a bank account. (even working for Natwest could not get me an account).Clarify why you have not received your giro ... and get a bank account for future payments!
It took me to get a water bill in my name, just to secure an account in the end. (tip for OP there
).
OP you should be able to get a Post Office account, with which you could get a bank account. Everyone should have a bank account nowadays, employers would insist on paying a wage into one, but without the relevant ID, you can find it particularly difficult.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A
