Would you be annoyed...

tell him you won't provide any favours until next christmas if he does!0

I'd hide them till you get up in the morning. It would make me so angry I am not sure what I'd do.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I'm so relieved that it's not me over reacting!
I decided to go with explaining to him why it was important to me so we shall see!!
I don't think it was said to wind me up, he doesn't do things like that to be honest. I think he just doesn't quite get why certain things are important to me.
Thanks for your input everyone!0 -
Prob too late now but I would have wrapped up something silly to tease like a packet of cereal and a loo roll!0

I agree with the OP.
Here is a seasonal solution.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
What happened?
I guess it's your 1st Christmas together, at least the first under the same roof?
I also thought he was winding you up. Early in my marriage my DH told me if our DS was born Feb 29th, he would only buy the child a birthday pressie every 4 years, and I was distraught in case the child came on that day (he didn't) cos I believed hubby. 11.5 years on and I know full well he was kidding. :rotfl:0 -
i'd prob be annoyed. but i know my hubby respects me enough that if something was that important to me, he wouldn't do it.
perhaps he just very excited and hoping you were gonna say ,that great i'll join you so u can both open the pressies early.
but hope it worked out ok for you hun.0 -
Hope it worked out but I would i definitely hide them. Alternatively I would get some empty boxes or fill a gift bag with news paper etc and leave decoys with a message in saying "your on the naughty list so I took your present - Santa" or "Patience is a virtue" etc. I'm a wind up merchant too! x2013 Free Money - £363.44 Topcashback
