Next sales are often a scam.
The stuff that they bring out in January is awfulNot Again0 -
Alot of the stuff on the next website at the moment is from the summer sale.0

Online Next sale started at 3pm today and it's only certain items that are shown when you go via the main front page of the sale items0

The stuff I ordered in the sale is showing sale price in the email confirmation. You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.0

Hi,
I managed to get half of it sorted. NEXT did have a sale on today.. Next had a problem with their website, where it was putting down the full price rather than the sale price.. As I was one of the first customers, they did not know about it until I pointed it out to them.. When I panicked it was because I had three next customer service advisors telling me that I could not cancel the order or to wait before I received the items to get back in touch. I had this problem once before with NEXT and it took them 4 weeks to sort it out.. But they do not honour their agreements, as some of you have stated. If an item has been ordered and processed, they can still charge you at the full price.. So beware..0 -
I had similar problem with last Next sale. I ordered it at sale price, all items went in at sale price, and final basket came up at full price. I thought it would show reductions on next page/confirmation but it didn't. I rang them immediately and they said 'we'll have to deliver order at full price and you'll have to return it'. I was fuming and told them I wouldn't accept the order off the courier. They weren't interested, just said ok. I've almost paid off my account with them now and don't shop there any more.0

I've had countless faults with NEXT. Too boring to list. I don't see why so many people rate them. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole anymore.0

I had a similar problem on Thurs with my VIP Sale slot. The screen showed the sale price, when I added the item to the basket it showed the FULL price, but still a red "sale item" flag in the price column. I only spotted it when the basket total showed £55, yet the two items I had put in the basket were only £10 each in the sale. I rang up & it took two conversations with two different people before I got to the bottom of it. The 2nd person got me to clear my basket, log out of my account & back in - this time everything I added was at the right price. Can't explain why it happened, as I'd placed an order in the VIP sale on Wed at the correct price, but I don't think it was a scam, just an internet/computer error. Might be worth trying this method if it happens to anyone else?Everything I wanna do is either illegal, immoral or fattening! lol :rotfl:0

I've always found Next to be of poor quality wether full price or on sale. They used to pass off seconds as "half-price" in the sale. Don't know if they still do.AKA; Mad, MM, MM5, Madicles  ©

I had the same problem, however, they manually adjusted the prices for me when I received the items. All easily sorted with a nice polite phone-call.Illegitimi non carborundum.0
