Cheapest pre pay
Let me explain.....
Our daughter has just got her first housing association property, in which both utilities are by N Power. She is paying a standing charge of 44p per day, and because we are decorating it, she's not living in it yet full time, and only using the gas and electric when we are there which is around 3-6 hours per week. It would appear that the standing charge is eating her credit.
Is there a supplier that doesn't have a standing charge for pre pay and will it actually work out cheaper?

You could check out Ebico, they have a flat rate for gas and electricity with no standing charge. in fact they charge the same no matter how you pay.
For most people unless you are a low user they are not that competitive. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Yep, Ebico for a flat rate charge so standing charges at all.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.0 -
Hydro dont have a standing charge on the quantum/pre-pay meters.0

Don't forget that it takes about 4 weeks to change suppliers so it's not a quick fix.0
