Laptop to CRT TV?

Been trying to see if this is possible without a load of faf!

Have VGA port on laptop and OLD CRT TV - it has Scart socket and S-Video sockets

Is there a straight forward way or should I just stop barking up the wrong tree!

you wont get sound over VGA though and the resolution on a CRT isnt great for browsing

Reviews say it doesn't work

Also its the opposite the female male S-video sockets than on my TV, so I can't see how it would connect?

Get an adaptor from Maplin.

Their one for around £30 works fine.
