Ive received the same 'delay' email as everyone else. Does that mean that when they do send it out they will charge the price at the time the order was taken(0.00) or whatever the price will be on 23rd Jan?They do have our credit card details after all!!

I haven't had one of those e-mails - yet, and it's still showing in my shopping basket with a despatch date of 28.12. Wonder what will happen

I've had the email stating mine will be despatced late Jan - i placed my order at 4.12pm - an hour after you so maybe you will be lucky

I have just looked at my on line Barclaycard account and in the pending items it shows £2.00. As I have not purchased anything for this amount, I assume that it is for the two Gordon Ramsay books that I ordered, and would I think confirm that they will be sent.

These are now £3 in store. Got my DH one as I missed the glitch - still a bargain at £3

The £2 that they take as is just in order to verify your card details (direct and also groceries do this) in a couple of days time it will drop off the system and obviously your balance will increase by £2 and then usually on the day of despatch they will take the full amount of your order.
