Hi,
Does anyone know of such a device on the market that allows you to watch movies from a data storage stick device through the television.
I have seen the televisions with a built in usb connection but mines a few years old and doesnt have a usb connection, wondered if theres a portable device on the market that allows you to plug yr data stick into it and connect it to the tv?
Not sure if this is possible or if there is such a device..?
Merry Xmas n ta

I've seen a few of the USB TV's and, rather disappointingly, they often only allow showing photos or playing music - not video, so check before you buy.
If you want a separate device eBuyer has a couple. Non HD and full HD from about £18 to £50+

Remember that USB isn't terribly fast, so you will tend to see devices accepting only a limited number of formats and bitrates, and you may find you don't get a nice smooth low-compression 1080p ;-)0

I have two "Sumvision Cyclone" micro devices - they connect to your RCA (yellow, white, red) connectors or via scart (as there is an adaptor in the box). Google that term and price check, cost is about 20 quid and well worth it, especially if you download a lot (yours truly).
These play directly off the stick but if you want to pay more there are also HDD (hard disk) versions available, even with network connectivity - depends on how much you want to sepdn really.

Err, no. That's the version 1 which is only £18 from eBuyer (so they are cheaper on that one, too)
