After it went on OOTW, it seemed to be on sale in our local branches at £26.66, a third off?, not sure if that happened in all branches? Think the Boots shop in Swansea then did the set at half that price, making it £13.33. It was a hand written price point, but noticed today, the sign was no where to be seen. Wondering if they realised they made a mistake? I only want it for the box really, although some of the make-up is ok.

Usually but the rate it's selling out I'd say they'll be lucky to have anything left. I went wandering in-store today and nothing seemed fantastic enough to buy really and I'm usually one of the queueing people first thing in the morning. I think lots of people are taking the 50% as good enough and stocking up.

Good ol' Mr Boots likes to keep us all on our toes. Some stores will stock an item for, say, £14.99 and yet a store, less than a mile away will stock the same item for £3.50. :j

There's just no way of knowing, which is why some SELs will be lower in one branch than another.

Anyone else having problems with favourite items stored on Boots site. When I try to add something in my favourites I keep getting error messages saying one or more items are discontinued? I only have items from the sale that are either in stock or out of stock. Nothing "old" as such and as we know items come back in stock hence why I have kept them in my favourites!

It was deffo the 20th Jan as it was my birthday. Had been put back a week due to weather. Our local v small Boots had loads of brill stock delivered for 75% off - I got stacks of stuff on my way to work. The Gok Wan set for £10 and a No7 set with abou £120 of stuff for £15. Getting all excited now.

I've noticed this too. When I try clicking on an item it seems to bring up a page of 'slightly related' items. Very odd. Especially as some things in my favs/wishlist, are saying "add to basket", but when I try, it says "discontinued". I spent ages this year adding eveything I wanted to my favs so that stuff that comes in and out of stock, like last year, could be ordered. Oh well, it really seems this year, you have to be quick with the Boots sale. If you want it, get it....

i have 3 daughters who love boots things for birthdays christmas and they have lots of friends who all have birthdays and i have 2 sisters mother and friends who i buy presents but it was just over £500, they told me 3 times over the phone that my order was ok, i have already ordered some stuff on-line at a friends at 50% so they cant stop me and i hope to get to a couple stores if it goes 75%
