Playstation 3 and wireless buzz buzzers!

We had a PS2 and upgraded to a PS3 last year. We used to play Buzz games and the buzzers got tangled up, so this year I thought I'd buy wireless buzzers. But, I have just had a thought. No PS2 games play on the PS3 do they???? That means I have bought wireless buzzers for the PS3 and the game won't play?! Am I right? I heard they were phasing out the Buzz games which means the only one I can purchase is the Music Quiz (apparently you can't easily get hold of any other PS3 Buzz games?).
Please can someone advise? Thanks

Where you hear this? That is a shame! I loved Buzz on the PS2 (got buzzers and 4 games) and my bro has it on PS3, all primed to play tomorrow!

I just ordered Buzz Quiz for the PS3 from Amazon, it is about £18 with free delivery and gets good reviews.
I have Buzz quiz TV for the PS3 which is very good.
I just bought Buzz Music for the PS3 from gamestation, it is £19.99 with free wired buzzers. We have only played it a couple of times but it seems OK (not as good as Quiz TV).
There is also Brain of the UK for the PS3 but it gets bad reviews.

You can download more questions from the Playstation store but also you can play using other peoples questions (online) you can make your own quizzes and you can play against other families online.
We have wireless buzzers and it is one of the few things that can tempt our teenagers out of their bedrooms!
