Can anyone advise, if I was to buy a TV with built in Freeview HD, do I need to purchase a HD Freeview+ box to be able to record, or would a Freeview+ box suffice since the HD is built in?0

An SD freeview PVR will not be able to tune into HD programs. You may be able to record a signal fed from your TV?Can anyone advise, if I was to buy a TV with built in Freeview HD, do I need to purchase a HD Freeview+ box to be able to record, or would a Freeview+ box suffice since the HD is built in?
You should really buy a freeview HD box they are not much more expensive than SD. I am really pleased with my Humax it upscales standard definition to 1080P and the difference in picture quality is amazing."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
