If you check the woolworths spec again, I think they've changed the formatting of the list, it now says that the 2 scart sockets are 'suitable for using a dvd player / freeview receiver on'.
The important thing to note is that 'freeview reciever' breaks onto a seperate line, and I think was bulleted originally as a seperate element, but now it is not, so I'd be doubtful this tv had freeview built in like many, many people thought.0

Its Not essential at all ........... component is good enough for HD ..... or even DVI.0

It does have HDMI input but can some one explain what this means, can I connect my computer to it. I bought one of these yesterday and am well pleased it is an excellent looking TV and the display A1 although as you can see I am not very technical and can't provide techi details but so far Im happy @ this price a bargain I think0

Actually, if you click the link it appears as though the set does have a HDMI input. What I want to know is does it have component inputs for my 360? Has anybody seen this TV? Can I ask for a demonstration of it in Argos? Although £400 is cheap for a HD set this size I'm loathe to drop the money without knowing if the TV is good enough for my uses.0

argos have a 16 day money back gaurantee, it does have HDMI input so why not test it at home. I did and picture and quality are good I have had it now for a week and am happy, so I will not be returning mine0

Decisions, decisions.....got one reserved at Argos. Like the one on offer at Aldi, but no price on it as of yet. Also, Marko are doing an Akura 32 inch HD LCD for £411 inclusive of VAT. The brightness on the Akura looks better (Aldi's tv is Brightness 400cdm2 , Argos' is 500 and Marko's is 650), but the contrast ratios are the same across the board. The details on the Akura are a bit lacking in that it only says it has two scart sockets and HDMI. The Aldi one has a 3 year warranty as standard. The Argos one comes with brackets. Response time on the Aldi tv is good ( 8 milliseconds), yet isn't mentioned on either the Argos or Makro TVs. Worst thing - the Aldi one isn't on sale until the 26th November, so no knowing the price until around then. I think the Aldi one looks better than the other two. In a rut?
