I have a house with them installed! Nice and warm in the morning but all the heat is gone come evening when you need it most. I have the input set at Max and the output set low from morning until the evening and by the time it comes to when I need an extra booth there is hardly anything!!!

I alys chuckle a little when you read about a property to let and it says 'the property benefits from night storage heaters'. There's one which was advertised September last year in my area, it was still there a couple of months ago when I looked in the free paper

I hate mine too and seriously wonder why I ever willingly agreed to rent a house with them!
We didn't have them on at all from May to about November but since the cold weather spell recently we have had them on a little but I'm terrified about the potential cost!
They're not efficient either and the house still doesn't feel warm.0 -

That's what storage heaters do, and why an electric fire is usually provided in the lounge for the evening.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
