I've done this many times in the last few weeks. Each time I go to control panel, mouse, device settings, tapping, enable tapping and untick.Click apply. this is always successful at first.
Within a few hours tapping is back on without me doing anything. when I go back to check the box is re ticked.
Is it reverting to defaults? How can I stop this? I want to use the touchpad but not the tapping facility. I have tried reducing it's sensitivity but the same happens.
Toshiba equium running windows XP 32 bit.
