Washing Machine door lock light flashing

Ca anyone help?
My Indesit WIDL 102 washing machine has a problem with the red door lock warning light flashing non stop,because of this i cannot start any cycle,it is flashing even with the door closed tight.I have tried unplugging from the mains for a few minutes,but when you plug it back in it starts flashing again. Any help appreciated!

You can press and hold the reset button for a couple of seconds, otherwise see page 14 near the bottom

This happened to me the other day the only way we could reset it was to turn off the power completley (unplug it ) for 5 mins and it was ok it was like it lost the program hope this helps0

Have you tried pushing on the door to close it a little more and holding it in? Otherwise you probably need to dismantle door safety catch, clean the plunger if you can get into it, check the electrical contacts and re-assemble. Remember to isolate from the mains before removing top cover.0

In the kitchen which isnt well heated at the moment Why?0

Probably not the problem then, if it's below zero inlet/outlet pipes to the machine can freeze, which could mean it not working and various warning lights flashing0
