My ITV channels, Channel 4, Channel 5 and E4 channels have all gone missing on my LG LCD tv. Have never had a problem before and have tried rescanning and factory reset butstill can't get them. It is doing my head in, does anybody else have any suggestions of what else I can try?

If they have gone missing then it is probably due to lack of signal being received. Could well be build up of ice/snow on your aerial that has reduced the signal strength and that is now below your receivers threshold. You may have to wait until the ice melts.0

Do you mean Freeview ?Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. It's quite likely that all of these are on the same multiplex. There are several possible reasons:
1. Snow/ice buildup on your aerial (anything water-based reduces signal strength).
2. Water ingress into the aerial cable from outside
3. Partial failure of the equipment at the transmitter
Any of these can reduce the signal level of that multiplex so that it is below the threshold at which your TV's tuner can receive and decode.
1. may fix itself with a thaw, 3. will probably get fixed when they notice the fault. 2. may require replacement of the cable.0 -
Suppose we will have to stop admiring the icicles then! Will let you know of any progress.
