  • well done on going under £20k! that's a fantastic achievement!

hope the eczema calms down soon. I am very lucky that I seemed to grow out of mine but my brother still suffers quite badly. sun does seem to help but in the absence of the yellow stuff, sunbeds are next best I guess!

how is betty? (my friend's racebike was called betty, great name! she was also red!)

Thanks - it's calming down nicely. I know people have mixed feelings about using steroids but personally, the benefits outweigh the downsides for me. I know long term skin damage is possible but I have suffered on and off since I was child and overall, my skin is not that bad - don't think I have more wrinkles than average for my age although my skin is slow to heal, even after minor cuts

    Wow - that's almost £8,500 you've cleared :T

That's a huge achievement so well done you :A

I'm still lounging about too, my ebay bag arrived & it's lovely & I think i know why I'm not losing weight :

3 slices of toast, 2 cups of coffee with milk & sugar & one packet of doritos consumed. No exercise done since wednesday :o.

The tin of slimfast may have to come out of the cupboard tomorrow ... :(

Progess is slow on the debt busting because I insist on having a life ;) but reaching a milestone like this feels fab :D When I started out two and a half years ago it seemed impossible that I would ever pay it off but now I know I can - however slowly!

Come on Lula - I think we both need to refocus on the weightloss and exercise stuff this week :p Yogurt and granola for brekkie and carrot and corriander soup for lunch for me - so far so good! Have managed to get showered and dressed, and am now off to the shops (essentials only!)

Yes I definitely need to refocus ... I'm fine until thursday night & then it all goes a bit downhill as with no work on a friday I lose my momentum.

I was given some artichokes at work so am off to make them into a soup, never had them before so a bit scared.

    Happy shopping :D

Spends were £15.51 in Asda including cleaning stuff and a birthday card, and £9.37 in Superdrug including stamps. Treated myself to a nude lip gloss and a coral nail polish that I'm going to pedicure my toes with tonight. I love the MUA range in Superdrug - and everything is £1 so great for a little treat. Total spends £24.88, leaving £13.91!

Planning to have mackeral and rocket salad for dinner, so eating has been good today. I need to make an effort to eat better - not just less but better nutrition too. Am going to look at the South Beach Diet that Souk does

Tried some jeans on but didn't love them so resisited :p Satisfied my spending urge by ordering a cover for my phone with an Amazon voucher and a Marie Claire subscription with my Nectar points :) And the make up of course :D

Plan a bit of beautifying tonight, and an early night with the new Marian Keyes :) after watching the footie if course :D
