OK (ish) day and I am home at a reasonable time

Found a 10k training plan online so I plan to go to the gym tomorrow and get started with that. It's a 10 week plan and I've got longer than that so should be doable

Spends have been the £26 race fee and £15.33 in Asda. That got me food through to Thursday and a couple of toiletry bits so not too bad! Total spend of £41.33, leaving a balance of £258.67 from my £300 target

No workout tonight but I have eaten well today and am planning a a bit of telly and early night tonight :)

Exciting on the 10K SG, I'd love to do something like that but hate running. Are you doing it for charity or just for the sheer [STRIKE]torture[/STRIKE] pleasure of saying you've done it?

    And yeah to pay-day!

I have never run in my life - even avoided it at school :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: but was shamed into it by the charity aspect

How about the "couch to 5k" thing? That's always intrigued me, you could work up to 10k after :p

I think what I have found is similar, a walk/run combo to start - it's from Zest mangazine

Massive well done for signing up for the 10k:T good on you!
I cant run :rotfl: seriously, I cant but was looking into signing up for the 5k in June. Even thinking about it has tired me out! But its something I've always wanted to achieve so I really should just go for it. ALso cheap way to tone up and get fitter :).

Right lovely, you can either buy lunch every day out at £2 which equals £40 a month of working days or just under a sixth of your budget or you can use that £40 for something lovely and just buy soup 5 for £2 or bread for your own wee sarnies from home. Just an idea but that really helped me. I dont think work lunches really enhance my life greatly so decided that the money would be better spent on other, more exciting things. XXX
