Sorry I know this is a basic question but having just set up the iphone I won on Lucozade how do I send a text message? I've tapped messages which has taken me to New Message page, I've keyed in the number but how does it go to the message pad for me to type the message?
I'm struggling to download the manual but it doesn't seem to be saying anything more than type the message - HOW?
Not sure I'm going to like this phone! Thanks for any help.

Tap in the little area between the camera icon and the Send button then type away using the on screen keyboard. The typing area will expand as your message grows.
