Tesco/Interflora flowers - Good customer service!

Just received a vase of flowers by courier that were frankly a little bit pathetic, they had obviously been kept in the cold too long with petals turning brown and really droopy.
I phoned Customer Service and was all ready for lots of hassle but instead I got a lovely lady who explained that the flowers had been in transit for a long time and they should not have been delivered, so I'm now getting a delivery in the morning from a local florist with a bouquet worth nearly twice the amount I paid.

  • Excellent customer service would have been not sending half dead flowers out, what if you had sent them to someone for a birthday Christmas gift? Would have been thrilled with droopy brown flowers!, and I always thought Interflora refunded as well as replaced. Should order from your local florist to start with to be sure of fresh flowers.

    They didnt. They had been in transit too long - probably along with everything else - which affected them.
