how to change default browser?

    Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    to set firefox as your default browser do: Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> General / System Defaults -> (checkmark) Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on startup -> Check Now


    yahoo/aol is a search engine not a browser.

    Hi jayme, just clarify the difference for me. aol/yahoo, and firefox please. search engine/browser? PSI says it requires a browser, why now after years of using it I don,t know.It must have found 1 in the past.

    it will not alter you being able to access aol or yahoo, you can even set one or both as your homepage (or any other webpage as your homepage eg google) or you can just set a bookmark to visit each, as they are all just web pages (just like MSE) which you use a web browser to look at them.

    Thanks jayme,I changed to firefox. I thought I opted for IE8 when microsoft were forced to open up.I have had to login on firefox homepage for this as my aol homepage kept asking me to login, says ok, then back to login again. gremlins. It,ll sort itself. Cheers , mery xmas
