Will these UMDs work on my PSP?

Ive been going through https://www.play.com and found some UMD movies at a good price..just wondering if they will work on my PSP.
My PSP is region 3 version 1.5 from america...i rented a UMD from lovefilm which didnt work , it said that the region code was incorrect.

Any ideas?

if you bought the umd movies from play you would need a uk psp to play them

psp games are region coded but the console is region free for games

Unfortunately if your PSP came from USA, it will need region 1 UMD's (American ones) and will not play UK ones. The same is not true of games that will play from any region, but it does apply to the films.

Also forgot to mention, i bought a UMD from woolworths store once and that worked : \ how strange

Some random ones are region free, I wonder if there any sites with the lists.

The way to tell this is like DVDs it will say Region 0.

Men Behaving Badly that I bought from play is Region 0. Some music UMDs are region zero, I wish they all were though!
