Frozen pipes

My rented business property has frozen water pipes so there is no running water. The pipe goes from the kitchen outside the building for a short distance. Is there anything I can do to resolve the situation myself or make sure the pipes don't burst. Landlord has been told but doesn't seem interested. I will not be able to reopen after Christmas if there is no water for flushing toilets.

I used a hairdryer on myn the other day and it worked fine no bursting0

If you know the location where the pipe has frozen you could apply some heat to that area.0

How do I find out where it is frozen? Also how would I heat up the outside pipes? Should I use warm water?0

Yes the pipe outside is going to be a real problem. Unfortunately it is a rented property and I don't want to pay for this. Will follow your suggestions for thawing the pipes. Thanks.0
