I don't know? I know before when I opened accounts with them my money has gone walkabouts for a few days. I thought once it gives the "you've opened a new account since your last sign-in" it's sorted and the account stays.... unless they take it off you. We'll see if it re-appears later/tomorrow morning then!

The guaranteed overdrafts are updated on the 2nd Monday of every month. Mine shot up to £5,000 pretty quickly and has stayed there for a while now though, think that's all I'm getting - I'm guessing 5k is the highest they can pre-approve online (any higher and they'll want you to go for a loan surely?).

I'm assuming I've only got 5k because I keep moving my matched betting winnings around... they obviously think I've got a hefty salary being paid in or something. Got approved for a credit card with them with a £1,350 limit on it the other week

I had an increase by then. How's your credit file and how much are you keeping in the account? It's done based on your average balance and whether they think you can afford it based on payments in etc. It sounds like you unfortunately haven't qualified for a higher OD when they credit score you each month.

Internally they'll assess the feed they get from your credit file, as well as your conduct with them. It won't affect your credit rating (it's not a search as if you'd applied for something).
