Wow Rufus - that's fantastic. I keep saying I'm going to set my shop up but still haven't done it. It'll be my new years resolution now. ;)

  • mumto3 sounds like you need to have less shocks. They say we are only sent what we can cope with, so best of luck with that lot. xxx

rufus well done on those shop orders. I am definitely going to make more with the crafts next year I think, as I do make some nice things, and it is better to do a bit of everything. If someone removed my need for some sleep, I'd manage it all. ;)

savvy, though we didn't go wild at CP, the couple of meals we had on top of paying for it, and the CC was groaning, and then all the dog purchases on top. I could have said no, but then life needs to have fun too, and we wouldn't be without either experience.

elysia I am working on the balance, I promise, as my mum even told me today how completely shattered I look, so I know something has to give.

Well today has been hard work this morning, followed by about 5 hours at my mums. The pup went mental with 2 of his brothers, and DS1 had over £100 birthday cash, so I am going to persuade him not all of that is going on toys. I think some of that can perhaps go on a day out somewhere, as it is too much really and my relatives are too kind. Part of being a big family though isn't it.

I'm shattered now, and was going to resort to takeaway, but said no. We are going to have one on Saturday night as a family to celebrate our wedding anniversary instead.

We are having a cooked breakfast meal instead - very healthy. Not.

I'm quite glad the kids break up for half term tomorrow as we certainly need a rest from the routine of being out so early. All DS1 wants to do is play on his new computer games.

Aw sounds like DS enjoyed his day Michelle! How many years will it be on your anniversary hun? Happy Anniversary if I forget!

Just remembered I am off down my Mums early as it was my Stepdads Mums Birthday today so have to nip down and do the duties! Will have a gander in Tesco too, cant resist! So better go and rummage in the present cupboard and get wrapping!

I made target today as sold some of DS's clothes on Facebook this morning! £9! Happy Days!

Just bought some Lego Duplo for DS for Christmas on Amazon and have for the first time in months gone under the £100 in my gift balance! I am always around the £120 mark as I do buy from there as treats for myself or just things we need or want on a regular basis but as I have money coming in from all over monthly my balance seems to stay the same! So looks like Christmas is officially coming as balance is lowering!

Ahh bless him. It must be horrible having to not play with all his new toys all day.

How lovely to have a special treat to look forward to. How many years have you been married? DD is mad on weddings lately. I think she's hinting at OH, but he's not listening. :rotfl:

ETA: sorry, cross posted with you Legend. My Am balance is nil, bank balance is nil, and have no vouchers left. I NEED some more redeems. :(

  • Sorry - was just stuffing my face.

My amazon balance is only £20 at the minute, and a long wish list of stuff to get. :o My WH bingo £10 came yesterday. My trouble is I have dipped in at various points to buy things like the dog stuff, kindle books, where I need to be more disciplined.

My wedding anniversary is our 6th one. It is the first time it has been on a Saturday since we got married, so it will be nice to spend the whole day as a family, even if some of it will be spent in the toy shop.

    Xmas Saver!
I've made our local paper!! I had this bright idea to raise some money on ebay by asking for donations of 99p, as Jan 2013, be mum + dads golden wedding anniversary, and everything mums been thou and dad does everything for us, I had a message with a number, expecting it to be a joke, no - they asked could they send a photographer round.
Bit difficult as we all live under the same roof, its all going to be a surprise, luckly mum had a tummy bug, so told her she'd be better off upstairs be nearer the loo, got dad to do the school run and "arranged" for Miss Hoodies best friends mum to have a long chat with him in the playground.

Then half an hr before the photographer comes, - have you got a wedding photo of them... mass panic, another white lie, luckly managed to get one, said Miss Hoodie needed it for a school project thou thats cost me £5 to keep her quiet that kid will go far!

We don't have the evening paper, but my Uncle rang, he dropped his cup of tea, opened the paper then sees my mugshot, so he's now swore to secrecy, but he's cut the article out for me! Been fun and games. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

What are you like? You'll do anything to get in the paper mum2one. ;) Seriously - Well done you. You should have let me know before and I would have donated. Your mum and dad sound wonderful. I hope you get some more donations from being in the paper. :) Sorry I've not been popping in more often, it's getting hard to keep up now it's getting closer to CHristmas.

What's the update with Caffcass? and how's Miss Hoodie?

    Morning all

I had a couple of surveys this morning, one was a Viva so £1 there, also DY went up by 50p again so need to make a £1 today. C didnt go up, I think thats because my review is only helpful at the moment and not VH. Never mind, I am up to £9.50 on there and might get a few more on before end of month. Would be nice to go over the £10.
  • Thanks all for congrats was a shock as on the pill but very happy suprise :) :j:j

Yesterday was rubbish for me tho did get a few 6000 point surveys on T 1 on viva and did a tigi review for 600 p

Been trying not to look at my balance on C as seems to creep very slowly compared to D but looked this morning and at around £2.50 so if I crack on with that can make it £10 for the month.

Im back to nothing skint, not close to a redeem anywhere but VO and a £20 voucher on was from DY so really need to get a move on ! xx

Have a good day all xxx:)
