That's good news Emma - It can't take too much longer now. I have a CRB for helping out in school, but they let me start before it came through, and that's with kids. I know I've done nothing wrong but they didn't.
Well done Rufus.I :heartpuls M.S.E.

Hi everyone sorry I haven't been in as much as I would like, things have been very busy here. Firstly me and hubby have decided to try for another baby once we move (hurray) I didn't think we would both decide that we wanted to as things have been very stressful lately but we had a long chat the other night so looks like I need to do all the saving I can. I looked over the accounts last night and it isn't as good as I had hoped so looks like I will be going through all the expenses to see where the money has gone or whether I have made a mistake as I am so careful with money and haven't splurged out

Have been going to bed around 1am the last few nights, trying to catch up with myself which paid of as I found soap and glory beauty bags at 75% came back instock online so ordered 7 to take it over the £20 threshold. I need a couple to replace my makeup bags and the others will be filled with makeup goodies for birthday presents during next year or Christmas presents for the ladies, I couldn't refuse at that price. I figure that if I start next year early it gives me a good chance to get freebie/glitch/win makeup to fill them for a quick and easy present which look much more expensive than it is and items will be chosen to suit each person so it's personal too
Need to get in the reviewing game I think, Will try to write up some thorough reviews of some make up later and perhaps recycle some old reviews and see how I get on, is it DY or C that have the makeup promo? I forget but I know you lovely ladies will know
Glad you and baby are doing well Nicky, you may well just have alot of fluid around baby making you bigger but a scan will be able to tell, I'm sure it's fine
Good to hear Murphy has settle in well Michelle, he has settled in so well.
You are very talented Rufus, I love those slippers very pretty, you should sell them on your shop you would get alot of interest I reckon.
Glad you had a lovely time at the cinema Elysia.
When I worked at a school they allowed me to work whilst waiting to for my CRB check to come through, I think they can't allow you if you are in a position of being left alone with a vunerable person without someone present (this was the case in my last job which was not school based). Maybe they could let you help with admin or some other duties whilst you wait? Think mine was three weeks start to finish but it is a busy time of year for CRB checks. Hope it comes through quickly.
Anyone ebaying heavy items, I used parcel2go for the first time yesterday, sent 5 heavy items via Hermes total came to £28.10 (paid via paypal) would have been slightly cheaper by card, at the moment they have a 7.5% discount code on their website and topcashback gives 20% off first orders. All in all paid £21.25 which would have been nearer £100 if I used the post office, one item weighed almost 7kg!
Sorry if I have missed anyone, I'm still chasing my tail... I hope you are all well (this means you legend
) and keeping up with the challenges xx Comping wishlist for 2017

Morning guys
Rushing round as usual today - having a busy day on Cha as they are doing advertising today and expecting a rush. Need to play along and maximise my payout now.
I've just done a review on DY (10p) taking me to 25/100 so behind target, but will catch up soon I hope.
Elysia thanks for the link to smyths. I hadn't realised that was a shop. My MIL had said the name to me, but I was thinking she had mis spelt WHS, and they have some good prices on things I want to buy anyway like toy story figure. Octonauts playset was another thing on my list. I saw it on am for £49, and it was on there for £35. Big saving there on one item. I so need to get into looking round more, as no point working at earning money if no time to look around for good prices.
savvy - beauty promo is on chow. I need to use it more too. So far I only did 3 things on there. Sounds like you will be working hard then if you want some extras for a baby fund. Great news.
rufus i need to check out your blog I think and see what the slippers are like. I've not had a spare minute to yet. Where do the hours go?0 -
Hello All! I am alive and nearly well still got a snobby nose and now have a cough, think my body is trying to clear the yucky stuff! Nice eh?!
Anyways I have listed some of Connors clothes on Facebook and sold 10 of his tshirts yday for £7.50 so bargain! I am selling off his 4-5 clothes, my child is a huge monster! The age of 3 and he has a wardrobe of 5-6!!! Also listed a few other bits so have sales over the next few days! Need to stop buying him clothes as I brought all his 5-6 stuff out I realised he has more than enough hoodies and hooded jackets to wear a different 1 everyday for a week or more! Eek! That will teach me for buying ahead! I know have 6-7 and even 1 pair of 7-8 trousers ready for the next stage! Think I am losing the plot as the other day I nearly bought him a pair of trousers aged 9-10 just because they had been reduced to £3!
Nicky glad you and baby are doing well! Connor was 8lb 8 born and that was big enough! Emma hope things get sorted soon, never rains but it pours eh?

Morning!! what a lovely day...my cat is sat on the windowsill looking very sad that its raining and he cant go out, he makes me feel guilty!
Only managed 35p today so far, hopefully get a bit more later! also T dont hate me anymore! yayyy, I can acually get into the surveys now! wooo also checked my points and I'm not too far off redeeming on there, hurrah!
Emma - sorry your police check is taking ages, OH always has to have police checks for his work and they take FOREVER - even when the job he was starting was actually for the police (luckily they let him start with limited duties!!)
Elysia - or anyone else actually, I did a survey on mys and at the end it said I qualified for a product test - does this mean they just send it to me? or is it not guaranteed I'll get it? also I completely missed if it said I'd get any points haha - do you usually get points for product tests or is the product the 'reward'??
My shopping was delivered yesterday, the cupboards are full so I quite fancy a baking day - might practise some halloween cupcakes to take to my sisters at halloween...May Grocery Challenge -£216/4000 -

Afternoon everyone
Savvy, thanks for the idea of putting the slippers on my shop, I hadn't thought of that lol. I will have a look up the town next week and see if I can get another ball of wool. They only take about an evening to make so worth a try. Not sure how much they would go for?
Legend, well done on winning the fiver xx
Pablo, you don't always get the products, but keep your fingers crossed you do. When you have had long enough to try them out they send you another survey to fill in on how you rated the product and you usually get paid for that survey as well. Usually you get to keep the product but not always. I had one on T this morning asking if I wanted to try out a new toothpaste but the write up they were telling me about it put me off saying how you could have a reaction to it and everything. It said on there you had to send back what was left over of the toothpaste after trying so I declined. Seemed too much hassle.
I had a couple of T surveys just now so I reckon I am over my £2.50 fr today. We went up town to get a few bits, they had the chocolate coins in Wilkinson's on BOGOF so I bought £5 worth to fill up the mugs I bought with the kids names on. I need to get a few more bags full when I go up again.0 -
Hello

I hope everyone is ok? I've been so busy the last few days! Just thought I would pop on and say hello before I get the kids dinner on and then I'm off to my drama group tonight - only two weeks left until we perform!!!!
As for surveys - my survey uk 50p, Opinion bar 50p, Ipsos £1 and onepoll 30p so only managed £2.30 yesterday! I tried loads but kept getting screened out, so annoying! As for today, I've been very naughty and I haven't even attempted any! If I have time when I get home tonight I will have a look and see if there's any I can do.0
