Legend - if you see another one Savvy wanted a bed rail. :A I've been looking, but none to be found near me. :(

Well done on your sale. There is a buy it, sell it, swap it facebook page for Birmingham I noticed yesterday, but it's new, and no-one has swapped or sold anything yet. I'll keep it in mind for the future though.

I am sure I saw that Savvy had managed to get 1 on the weekend thats what got my mind ticking and then low and behold 1 appeared from nowhere! Love how Mr T is helping me make money, lucky really as I spend so much time in there!

  • Thanks for thinking of me Elysia, I managed to track down a bedguard on Sunday for dd, so pleased :D I have no idea how to use self serve tills and didn't think it was the best time to try with super cheap items and an employee watching people with eagle eyes didn't look like the overly friendly type, went through the till and the lady was about to call the manager as she was confused at the 60p, I said 'It's ok it's a clearance item' and luckily she put it through. That itself has saved me a bundle. Still no sign of the cars lego or hm force dolls, and the moondough sets had barcodes firmly over the originals.

I need to read back through everythin I missed and catch up with you all I thik, I feel I am missing out on something but not sure what lol.

How have you lovely ladies been? Did you enjoy the cinema Elysia? Hows murphy settling michelle?

Well done on your sale legend, always nice to make a quick sale, someone got a bargain there, how has your mr t visits been going? I always get there and forget what it is I am looking for lol.

Welcome all newbies and hope we are all on target for October :D

I'm so pleased you found one Savvy. I only go to Mr T's on a Friday usually, so I tend to check those threads on a Thursday. ;)

The film was great, we saw Footloose. If anyone is put off by all the dancing, it's not all the way through, and it's got lots of action scenes for the OH's. There were three twenty something males behind me, and they loved it. DD2 liked it too, but it was a bit too risque for her, I had to cover her eyes and ears at some points. It was a 12A (like Harry Potter) so I thought she'd be ok.

    Level changes on DooU

The temperature has certainly dropped a few degrees over the last week and no matter how you paint it, we’re now undoubtedly in autumn. The shopping habits of consumers are changing in-synch with the seasons, so we’ve made some level changes to reflect the latest shopping trends.

Camping, Golf, and Garden Machinery are all headed south; camping’s gone into Level 3, the other two have gone into Level 2. Winter Sports on the other hand has moved up from Level 3 into Level 2, as has Hair Removal – it seems that no matter what the season, we want to keep that in check! Pet Food is headed into Level 3, and L’Oreal moves from Level 2 up into Level 1, swapping places with Clarins. That just leaves the almighty Gadgets category, which heads back up into Level 1 for a spell.

Go find those gadgets and get reviewing. :)

Also on Chow- the product of the week is the new Lee Evans book.

If I could find my kindle, I might have had a go at this one. ;)

Evening all, have done my £2.50 for today in fact have done £2.72 so a little extra but that's only as I have posted 2 reviews today. Planned to spend tonight tidying and going through survey sites but I got a response for a cat on freecycle that I emailed on saturday didn't expect to get her but the owner has come back to me this evening and we have been emailing back and forth and now she is coming to check out the dogs and the house on wednesday and we are going to meet the cat on saturday, really excited hope she says we can have her.

Hello to newbies and hope all are doing well

It is on now. Oh well, at least you know i wasn't telling porkies. ;) I was definitely in bed.

Cha balance now at £6 for the day. I seem to be doing rather well. It will be well over £200 by the time I get paid. What I need to do is stop trying to do everything else too and keep going with this. That might save my sanity.

You girls got a brill deal on the bed rails. They are quite dear normally, or were when I bought one 3 years ago.

savvy Murphy has settled really well. We took him over to my mum's yesterday, and I thought he would cry loads after when we got home, leaving his mum again, but he wasn't bothered. We also seem to be getting there with toilet training. He has only had one accident in the house today. My fault as well as he was mooching round near me in the kitchen while I was sorting the boys a snack, and I thought it was because I was sorting the food. I shoo'd him back in, and then he did it. I don't think he is doing bad at all, and he is like a baby. Always wanting to snuggle on my knee. I am sure he will be a good source of heat in winter.

I feel like I am missing out on some stuff because i'm so busy. I am glad I can pop on here and get a summary, then not miss out too much. Thanks for the DY stuff Elysia. I normally spot all that sort of stuff first as well, shows how distracted I am.

I know you do Michelle - we both missed the short and sweet promotion over the weekend. ;)

Well done Emma. I've also done two reviews :) One 300 and one Gadget since I found they are now 600 ;)

Ips 150 pts (can't be bothered to work out the money equivalent), YG 50p, T 4,000 plus a product test :), 30p OP, £1.35 DY. Not as good as your's though Michelle.

  • Cha for the day now up to £13.28 after they added my £6 bonus. I came 4th in who answered the most over the weekend. I missed out on winning a fiver by 3 Qs. :o It's crazy.

I need to remember to keep some of the other balls in the air though. I think i might cash out dy as amazon and get some more pressies ordered. I am going to check out what gadgets are 60p. My balance has shot up a lot today, as I have done a lot of book and films recently and not got a lot to show for it in spite of having at least 80 rates.

I am not too bothered about missing out on the S and S. I spent ages writing my entry last time, and there is no guarantee you win is there. Whereas time spent on Cha I actually did have cash to show for it. My target was £200. I am at £180. I have another 9 days to work at it, so I am just debating upping my target and then taking half term off as I'd be ahead. Then I can get some time with the kids that is quality time for a change.

I've been and looked to see what qualifies as a gadget so I can list them here.

There are obviously more, but basically these are the most common things that we might all own and can review - No Touch Handwash, Torches, Army Knives, Tin Openers (and other kitchen gadgets like apple corers etc), Laminators, TV Arials, Calculators, Choc Fountains (YUM), Dymo label makers, Wall Clock and Alarm clock and finally shredders.

I hope this list makes it easier so you can find a Level one item to review. :)
