    Morning all

Flying visit here, I have head a read through what everyone is up to but havent got time to post much. FIL is doing well, he is sitting up in a chair this morning and seems quite chirpy. The doctors have been saying they dont know how on earth he survived such massive heart attacks. Hee seems to have turned a corner though and they are talking about letting him home later in the week, may be the weekend.

I will catch up with you all another day when I am not rushed off my feet and have places to go xx
  • Glad FIL is feeling a little better now rufus

Sounds like you are doing great on cha michelle! Its amazing how a little extra sleep makes us feel fab, I went to bed at 12 and feel amazing today! House is spotless, review posted and a survey on T done so far! I got a crown for my zoo review, chuffed with that as I did put a lot of effort into it

  • Rufus - i am glad to hear FIL is doing a bit better.

Cornish, congrats on the crown. I got one too today for the book review I did a week ago. I am now at 17, and still thrilled every time.

I think I might review the place I got my glasses from today. Great service. I ordered last Friday, and they were here with me this morning.

Day hasn't panned out quite as I thought. I had to go and pick DS1 up about an hour after getting DS2 as he had been stung by a wasp while playing out. Poor little man wanted to come home, and I don't blame him. It got him on his thigh. Thank heavens for google. I've give him some ibuprofen and then put a bicarb paste on it, and he says it seems better now and some of the redness has gone.

I suppose on the bright side I now get to stay home and not go out later.

  • Michelle, i do all kinds of crazyness when i am tired, i threw a way a pice of work last night that i did for homework and had to be handed in today :(

Rufus glad to hear your father in law is better.

A little help please i bought a hotpoint electric cooker, with a halgen elctric hobI just had it replaced as not only did it have ahuge dent but athe top coating on the hob scratched and came off, i have checked my pans etc for scratches , but then have none, and also that they can be used with this type of hob and they can, checked the instruction booklet and I am not doing anything wrong, but it seems it is happening again, i could just be a poop cooker, but do i have to treat this hob in a certain way??
  • Rufus - glad your fil is a bit better x

    Knit - sorry I can't help, I use a gas hob

My two buyers on ebay have paid, so will be off to the po tomorrow - I can't face going today now :o
  • I've never had that sort of cooker either knit. Always gas for me. Have you checked your manual? My cooker is a hotpoint, and at less than a year old the pan stands and burner plates are not wearing that well either. I just don't think things are made as well these days. That is not on though if it scratching and peeling. It will look old very quick won't it.

Only gas for me too knit! Had a lush sleep last night but Connor still off today as he hasn't stopped coughing since 6am! Any way only waiting o 2 payers on ebay and quite chuffed as I only messed up on p&p for 1 lot which were curtains and only out my 1.80 so not too bad think I will make about 85 and 35 of that was postage so 50 quid ain't bad! Went to Swansea Tesco today but still no toy bargains for me! Was desperate for the Cars ones but they seem elusive in south Wales! Right I need to go check surveys as have been caught up with ebay, Connor and sleeping! Oh and Pablos congratulations on having a boy! X

Sorry not been about today. Have posted more ebay stuff, run some errands, been to two T's, and then walked too and from school when collecting DD (half an hour each way). Have sat down, and haven't moved since. :)

I got a crown too. It was for one of those I hoped to get one on last week, so maybe someone else nom'd again. I'm at 18 now and I agree Michelle, I feels good every time. :)

Out of the two T's I went to, the only toy I picked up was a zooble should be about £8 and paid 80p. :) I did write a list to take with me, but left it on the kitchen table. Doh. I did look out for Star Wars things for you Nicky, but they didn't have any. Is there anything I can look out for, for anyone? I can't promise I'll find them, but will certainly pick them up if I do.

Michelle - you were saying about Chow being £30 less than last month, I think £90 on Chacha makes up for it. ;) Well done on the extra bonuses, and your crown. It's all extra pennies.

While I remember, I won £7 on CI today. Their surveys are always for prize draw entries. I've been on there 6 months, and do a couple of two or three minute surveys a month. I'm at £13 off them so far. I also withdrew £100 from paypal, despite me spending £70 of my earnings, so I did better than I thought.

I hope Savvy is alright - she's not posted since Sunday morning.
