Haha - I was writing it as you posted that. ;) Well done on your other crown Claire. You're on a roll.

Well I hope my new review get's a crown, it's taken me about four hours to perfect, and I only got 10p for posting it. I had hoped it would come up as part of the promotion on Chow, but it's listed as a museum so I guess not. :(

Rufus - it's a panel we're on - nothing to do with products like my others - it's just a general one. We got invited by filling in a survey somewhere. We don't actually get paid for doing it - just get prize draw entries, so I've been lucky to win three times, and Pink once, I have my fingers crossed for Savvy - hoping she wins one of the big prizes next time. :)

Michelle - I hope the school visit went ok. I remember all that stress trying to keep the house tidy, and DD was going along behind me messing it all up.

Giggles - well done on the Tax Rbate, but bad luck damaging your car. Sorry to hear your neck is still hurting, DD had whiplash once, but didn't get offered physio at all. Mum did (both in the same car accident) but it was years ago, and I can't remember what they did or how many sessions she had now. How's the money making coming on?

Last night I redeemed on SB for Paypal, and s&s and this morning my NV cheque came. :) I need to go the bank and put deposit it in a sec.

Well done on the reviews ladies, good to see you all are back on track. Might join you in October with reviews as I will have a month off from uni, wont be starting next course until November after I complete my ema.

I hope you get a crown too Elysia, you have put a lot of effort into your review and I'm sure the share of the fund will reflect that. Thanks for well-wishes re the prizes on cup elysia, to be honest I have only done the surveys on cup, I didn't see much point logging in if there were no rewards as such but as you say maybe I should it's worth a shot. I think I will try to get into it, I'm on another panel which is £20 a month so shall try to fit the two in around things.

Good news on the tax rebate giggles, bad news on the crash though, the irony of the world being in perfect balance lol.

Been busy day today, hubby is back doing night school this week on top of everything else so it's been all go. I have been ebaying and clearing out the house like a crazy thing. Dd had her two year development check up today, I am so proud of her she is 6 months ahead of her age in all categories and 2 years ahead for visual (matching colours, puzzles ect) which is pretty fantastic. We were also going to book tickets for LaplandUK this year too, went to book and it turns out it will be £150 for all three of us. As lovely as it would be, at the age of two I don't think dd would understand it or remember it enough to warrant that much. Think we will wait until closer to the time and see if they have last minute availability cheaper.

Back on with the ema later, and sorting a few more things to sell/swap, pack, and whizz through the housework. Hopefully there will be time to get some full on money making too.

Need to sort out my what's left to do/buy for Christmas list too (and order our elves). I haven't even decided what I want for Christmas yet so I need to get thinking on that one, have no idea what I want.

    1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuff

  • School visit over thankfully. It has been a long day. Best bit is you go mad tidying and they were here about 15 minutes in total. DS was supposed to draw a picture but he was having none of it. I've had to really pin him down to do it this afternoon, and he has basically done a few scribbles. He is not daft at all, he said to me, but Mummy I didn't know what to draw.

He's also got a whole booklet of stuff he needs to do with me. The first thing was write his name. I wrote it for him, and said see if you can copy what I wrote, and he wrote it underneath my writing. Absolute monkey. Once he gets over being shy I think they will know they have got him. I will certainly know I haven't. :rotfl:

I am completely worn out now. I've done 5 loads of washing too, and been building lego. I could just about go to sleep, but I will have to do some chacha today.

Savvy - Lapland UK sounds fab, but expensive. In all honesty you would be better taking her a four or five, Me and my sister took our girls to Disneyland just before Christmas one year - Although they had a fab time at that moment, my Neice can't really remember it now, and she was three at the time, she's not even 6 yet.

Michelle - How's chacha going hun? Are you getting quicker now, or is it more hassle than it's worth? Sorry for all the questions. I'm glad the school visit went ok.

  • I haven't touched it since last Wednesday. I had that migraine last Thursday night. It was ok. I was getting a bit quicker, and finding my way round ok. I could do £50 a month or more on it fairly easily. I was aiming for at least £2.50 a day from a few hours leaving it on in the background. I think that is more than achievable. They were paying quite a bit for people who were doing it when they were busy over the weekend, but I missed all that. I'll have to let you know how long it takes me to reach £50 minimum payout.

    Morning Legend

I dont really have anything to report either lol. Had some surveys in my inbox but only managed one of them for YG. Others I got screened out. Off out today so wont be back on until this afternooon xx

Edited to add, I have put a pic of the knitting pattern I am making on my blog. I will post a photo of the finished article when I have done it all. Just got one front done at the moment and started on the second one.

Nothing to post here either :( Let's just hope that no news is good news.

I was rating yesterday evening and writing another review. Just need to polish it up before I post it. It's another museum review so it will go into the promotion for Chow.

My dad is one of those who if you buy something he wants one too, or he's got to get one better - anyway he phoned up yesterday asking me to find him a deal on a Tablet - he was after the M0t0r0la Zoom, so I found a £10 off code for T so he thinks he's getting a bargain, plus I got the CC points and cashback. :D

I hope Viva is good today - hopefully we can all get another redeem before it changes. :)

  • Morning guys. I was up far too late again. I was writing a review and chacha-ing till nearly 1am, but the chow review has 5 E ratings already so hopefully worth it. I'll past to DY later.

Not even got round to checking email yet as i have got to get DS2 to do a whole booklet of stuff before starting nursery next week. Seems daft really. We just did a page of naming shapes and colouring, but still have the hard pages left to do where he has to see if he can copy some letters and numbers. Bribery all the way I think.

Miserable here again, so the most exciting thing I can see me managing is a trip to the post office with the MIL's birthday present.
  • Hello ladies, sorry I haven't been around much... busy money making (and spending eeek!). Looks like my totals this month are going to be pretty good! I've sorted out all my ebay stuff and I'll be putting it on next weekend hopefully. I need to sort out DD's room, got her old bouncer, activity station and things in there and want to put her into a big girl bed soon so might put the big things on fb. Bit weary of strangers coming round to collect things though :o

Hope you had a nice holiday Michelle!
    Will catch up properly later!
