  • Sorry to hear you are unwell again Twinkle and cornishchick, hope you both feel better soon.

Rufus, I usually go for amazon but I don't wait for it all to clear because I am impatient lol. Your hair sounds lovely :)

Foxy, well done with being so organised. I'm already with KGB but I don't think would use them again, the two times I have bought deals they have both gone wrong with codes not working, and weeks and weeks for a refund. Sounds a good deal though, we have a lovely canvas of dd but not sure where to hang it lol.

Well done on getting the reviews up Claire.

Legend, can you open up a US amazon account is that allowed, you may be able to use it that way? I don't really know the rules but maybe ebay is the best option, or contact the company that send it to you and explain?

Elysia, well done on your payout that's fab I'm glad it came good in the end. I just spoke to their team who just spoke to Boots, they said that mine will become payable after 1st Sept so I'm happy, would be happier when the money clears though lol.

Busy day today, laptop shall be here at some point and have an assignment to start and finish in a few days GULP! I also found some peppa pig toys reduced in asda, picked up two reversible peppa pig toys should have been £12.99 each reduced to £2.50 each (or thereabouts) so I am very pleased. May pop back later this week and pick up a few more as presents for others kiddies later in the week.

Thanks for the feedback Savvy, think I will give it a miss and wait for the groupon one to be back on. I've never had any problems with their deals!

Had another cra* bit of news in that my ex boss has now been diagnosed with cancer, and been given anything between 6 months and 10 years. Says its incurable, and there isn't a thing he can do about it. Well that's 2 in a week, so what's next?

Kids have driven me mad today, got quite upset as I tried to explain to my 4 year old that when she starts big school in 2 WEEKS time she won't get as much mummy time, cannot believe she is going to big school - where does the time go!

  • I didn't mean to put you off foxy, I'm sure I just had some unlucky experiences with them but it's worth knowing sometimes they aren't as organised or prepared as they should be. Sorry to hear about your ex boss, I hope she will be ok it really puts things into perspective doesn't it :(

Up and running with laptop now, not sure if I like it better than the old one yet or not. It's built to last and it comes with microsoft office which is going to save me a small bundle.

Theres a few more on viva now everyone, one pop and some notorious web ones, one has credited one crashed at the end. I wish they would get them sorted out I'm sure they will be credited at somepoint but it is disheartening isn't it.

Need to finish setting up the laptop and crack on with my assignment whilst all is quiet in our household, will pop in later to catch up with you all.

Savvy - great news about the lappy. You'll get used it soon. :)

Foxy - I've had trouble with KGB too - I bought 6 deals for a local playcentre. I printed out the voucher to take DD and they won't accept it. I wouldn't bother again, every one I've gone for living social, groupon whatever, I've always had trouble.

Bad news for me too. OH's died brother today. :( He's been in hospital since his wife's funeral 6 weeks ago - at least they're together now.

So how's things with everyone else - I need some good news :)

Ahh Susan - you reminded me then - once I'd logged into .com by mistake and my password still worked. It was that long ago - I'd forgotten, it's got to be 10 years ago.

How are you Susan? Are you looking after yourself?

Dooyoo levels have changed again. Time to get reviewing your suitcases and shredders:

A lot of consumers are travelling at the moment, so it’s a great time to give consumers your opinion on your favourite Travel Bag, and that category has moved up into Level 1. Bikes, Jewellery, and Xbox 360 Games have also moved upwards; they’ve moved into Level 2, and are joined by Outdoor Toys, Garden Tools, and Clinique. Hair Removal and House Misc have moved down for now, and are in Level 3. Which just leaves the Shredder category, which will now earn you a cool 600dMs for your efforts.

When you’re logged in, the Site Map will always show you exactly how many dooyooMiles you’ll earn for each review, so be sure to have a gander if you want to be sure of which categories are in which Level. We look forward to reading your reviews

On a another note - I'm celebrated dooyoo'er of the week. I got another bonus - so I'm up to £20 and I only got my £50 cheque Monday.

  • Well done on DY Elysia :j

I'm up to 10/15 reviews - did three today on books I read. I don't find books as easy to write about as other things but I wanted to do them before I pass them on to others to read. I'll have a wee look to see if my shredder is on!

Did a bit of rating on both Chow and DY and caught up a little on TL. I like the new TL mini surveys - they are generous enough for being short.

Managed to get to payout on a site I found on my iPhone - Npolls. You get paid 20cents per poll (they are v short) and once you reach $10 they pay you to paypal. Obviously the exchange rate will eat into that but its worth it for answering a few questions on your iPhone.

VO have been screening me out lots but I managed a Tea poll today and some opinions. Think thats all to report.

Sorry to hear the bad news that has been sweeping a few people on here - hope you are ok :(

Managed £3 on Viva tonight on the pop surveys and one 85p one too, very pleased with that! Only £2.20 to go till redeem, would be great to be able to redeem by the end of the weekend. Also did 50p on YourSay. Got 2 surveys showing on VO but my bed is calling me!

    Night night all x
  • Elysia - Sorry to hear about OH's brother :( well done being DYer of the week!
Twinkle - Hope you are taking it easy and making a speeding recovery
Savvy - Bargain on the peppa pig toys!!

I'm feeling abit better today, a couple of drinks with a friend this evening certainly helped! Managed 2 reviews earlier, so still hoping I manage the 28 target, this challenge is making me knuckle down more! redeemed on VO finally, I hate sites where the credits pend forever!
