I am up for this, just worked out if I can do the 300 point reviews and get at least 30 rates per review then if I can do another 4 I will get to pay out and if I can do another 17 after that then thats another payout. I think thats right anyway. Thats without doing the Household challenge too. So I am going to go for 25 reviews by end of August. Would say I will start now but things to do today so will start tomorrow.
Edited to add the payout are the £20 Amazon vouchers not the £50 cheques.0 -
I am going to try and aim for 20 reviews by the end of august
I am away for two weeks so going to give it a really good go and will hopefully hit it.
Good luck to everyone who is going to give it a go.GC 2015: Aug £272.21 /£300 Sept £112.41 /£300

Good idea Michelle - I was just going to add it to the August challenges, but if we make it the challenge now - it gives us an extra two weeks and takes some of the pressure off.
I think that we are all getting fatigued too. We all had an excellent June, and it's hard to keep up that pace.
The trouble is, this is the time we really need to focus - imagine T, The money we earn now won't be paid out until October-ish. And sites like OP, where it takes time to cash out - we really need to push on them to get a payment before Christmas. The surveys have really slowed down lately so we do need to focus on something else, and that's when the reveiwing is going to come in handy.
Right then here's the List: Rufus 21, Claire 20, Me 15 Who else is going to join in?I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

I will. Stick me down for 35. Almost one a day for the days I am about. I will start today. And, I will not beat myself up if that means I copy some from one place to another. Life is too short. I'm just going for what is easy.
I need you guys to keep me on track too. I see what you mean Elysia about pushing now to get the payout, but I do also think for me I need to make sure I have enough energy to cope with the summer hols and keeping the kids entertained.
I might pick a couple of sites to have a push on this month, and choose my battles a bit more wisely to keep my energy going.
The reviews are definitely my best money maker so deserve a bit more of my best attention.0 -
Hi everyone, just quickly popping in to say a couple of things, firstly I didn't realise this and maybe some others weren't aware but loony have chaged the way they display sponsored surveys, they are in a yellow bordered box either on the right hand side on main page or above the polls when you search for surveys. I didn't realise this before but I am tackling them one by one and qualifying for nearly eery one so far
Hopefully will be on track for a loony payment soon.
Also didn't know if anyone knew this either, but when you log into amazon now it shows you when your vouchers will expire, I assume they use the ones that expire first. This is really good as I was worried I would forget and lose some of them. Most of mine don't expire unti 2014
I wont be joining in the review challenge unfortunately, it is alot of effort and time to make any money, rating as well and I wont be able to find the time between uni, looking after dd and spending quality time with my family. Wishing you all luck though, will be here to cheer you on.
Challenge ebay accepted Elysia
Have managed to order one item on my list from the Next sale, I'm sure I will get there one by one as they pop back in stock :rotfl:Comping wishlist for 2017
1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuffThe more you put into life, the more you get out0 -
It seems that we are all suffering from a mid-year fatigue :rotfl:
I am really disappointed in TL - the number of sponsored polls has fallen away dramatically lately. I'm still getting a fair number of surveys but this used to be a good way to boost points quickly. I've really fallen away on the "80 words or more" responses so I'm going to get my finger out on that.
Got nothing on viva last night so booo to that. I think you've got a point Michelle regarding sites that are consistant and worth investing time in. OP has been rubbish lately with all the prize draw only ones.
I've just had a product accepted on DY so going to copy the review over from chow. I will commit to write 15 reviews by the end of August, so please hold me to that and feel free to kick my @ss if it doesn't happen
Hope we all start having a better money-making time. Once the summer holidays are over I'm sure christmas stuff will start appearing in the shops to spur us on.Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -
Yay - your part of the challenge completed Michelle. I have written a review on my Microwave, and am waiting for it to be accepted on DooU. In the meantime, I noticed it was already on Chow, so I pasted it there too. Woohoo.
I'm going to be checking the reviews, and will definately be kicking @ss if the challenge isn't met. LOL You have my permission to do the same. Funnily enough, I feel great when the motivation kicks in, it's when it wears off, and things become a chore, that things start to suffer.
Savvy - well done on accepting the challenge. I can't check but can we have regular updates? That'll keep you on your toes.
I know it's hard with your uni work etc, that's understandable. You just do your best, that's all anyone can ask.
I'm off to do some rating, see you all later.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

thanks for your well wishes ladies. I had a good 12 hour sleep last night haha and have just been pottering around the house doing chores and feel like my skin is looking a little better now
. And its nice to have cleared some ironing backlog hahaha
Also photographed my bag of stuff for ebay. So going to pop out for some milk then will start to write the descriptions for them. Not sure yet but I may list them tonight on a 10 day listing, as I think I may be going out for tea tomorrow. Looking like August is going to be a tight month money wise so any extra pennies to pay off towards my debts means I can have a few more pennies for fun summer (hopefuly we wil get one!) activities. My student overdrafts are coming to an end, one this month and the other end of august, so want them both paid off so I dont have to pay interest!0 -
That's it, we were all so motivated and working flat out, so we all probably just need to be a bit more chilled.
And those of us who have kids do need to spend the summer hols enjoying it with them. If we go to a day trip with them, or watch a film with them, then we will have to review that item.
I knew we could all do it. I just posted a household one too. I feel like it was a bit of a cheat as I wrote it during the site downtime, but never mind. 1/35.0 -
You're no cheat - you did well to stay motivated during the time off.
I've rated for two hours on Chow. Off to see what else I can find.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
