I will be teaching a Reception class part time from Sept,,,, so can have routine back in my life. Feeling less excited about it today though as it means my pay won't bring in any more than i get now on cover,,, potentially less but im a step closer to completing my induction. So heres to continuing money making and being money efficient with you all
Well done Butterfly
. Just a thought, if you are teaching part time, could you still do some supply work as well? You may find your new school will have a fair bit of cover work you can do when people are on courses, or to cover PPA.
At my school it seems once your foot is in the door you get lots more offers! I was originally employed part time for 4 months to cover another teacher who was taking bereavement leave. Within 2 weeks I had been made full time and at the end of the 4 months I was made permanent - that was 6 years ago and I'm stil there
Also, it's a huge step forward to completing your induction so that's great, it's a lovely feeling when all that's done with!Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -
Hiya Bramble - of course, you are most welcome to join. The more the merrier.

Take time to read through the first few posts - there may be some sites that you haven't joined yet. Can you shout and ask if someone can refer you first please? Then later you will have a chance to refer someone else.
What a good week for newbies - it's been brilliant. Not a good week for surveys for me though. Not much going on lately.
New challenge is coming up - How did everyone do?
I was a failure at Toluna - I haven't got around to everyone yet, but I do plan to before the month is out. I promise. I didn't do as well as I'd hoped on dooU either, but I got another crown to top up the balance a bit, I've been doing ciao and then the guides, so not done too bad on the whole. Not many redeems this month, I have a lot almost at threashold or waiting to clear so June totals will be better.
Well done on your redeem Knit - what with that, ebay and your guides, you'll be rolling in money (well, we can dream LOL).
Savvy - I've re-read the paperwork, and there's no mention of doing anything with the receipts, and it must be a different company as gift vouchers are not an option, just gifts.

Morning all
My computer on the blink yet again. I think we have narrowed it down to being a hard drive problem. I tried reinstalling windows this morning but it was having none of it for ages then tried again and got it working. I want to get a new drive next week if OH can check there is room in there for one but not sure what I have to buy lol. I will need to leave the old one in there as it has a recovery partition on it where I think all the drivers are. I can use some of my Amazon vouchers to buy it but just had a look and its gone way over my head lol.
I had a few surveys that I completed last night and this morning, checked on NV and found I am now only £5 away from redeem, cant think how this keeps going up as I havent done any surveys lol unless they are somehow counting the ones I do through TCB or Viva??
I ave done alright on ebay this month, made about £50 altogether, still a few people who havent paid but am pleased with it0 -
Just finishing off a little few things before i go away. I've claimed my ciao money - £18.66 to go with £5.34 earlier in the month. I claimed £10 on vivatic last night, and got an ipsos £10 am voucher yesterday in my inbox. (Now up to £55 in my am account.
)
Ladies - have a lovely weekend. I will pop in when we get back on Tuesday. I am going to enjoy every minute off.0 -
Morning all
Almost ther mum2one hopefully toluna pay up soon so you can get your furniture.
Oh no rufusdog, what a nightmare about the gardrive! Hubby built the home PC and it seems as one thing needs replacing and is fixed something else goes, this time a hardrive too. It all goes over my head, he has replaced two fans, one graphics card, one monitor and now the hard drive needs replacing, I think it would be cheaper to buy a new computer but he's having none of it lol. Well done on Vista, just off to check mine, and you have done really well on ebay - I'm too scared to sell again, too many problem buyers eeeeek.
Well done michelle, it's all adding up now isn't it
Have a lovely bank holiday weekend and enjoy your trip.
Elysia, that's the other one I have been accepted on but I think I'm going to give it a miss, is the scanner huge? On the bright side you will still be on the waiting list for shopandscan, you can do both, some people do. It all helps and when you do get onto the shopandscan you will know what to do already
Nice to see you back Kirsty, hope your doing well, we miss you x
