I'm so excited! I have just spent the afternoon creating a business name, a folksy store, blog and facebook page (can#t work out how to link them though
).... all I need now is to make something to sell (slight flaw in the business plan there)
I've a long way to go but it's a start and I have a little stash of wool to be getting on with something. Now for some inspiration! Thank you for the encouragement

Aww freudianslip, I am the same hun, I have a blog which I haven't updated in a while, a folksy and etsy shop but not sure how to make a facebook page for selling (any help appreciated!!
). And again I don't know where to start looking for ideas to make so I have nothing to sell either boo hoo hoo
Comping wishlist for 2017

Well done Freudian - I knew you could do it. Get your crochet hook out hun, so we can see what you make.
Savvy - we need to get you sorted. You have no room, so it needs to be something you can pack away. Card making is something I started at. but it spreads. I'm sure my stuff multiplies in the night. Everytime I go anywhere I buy stuff. I could make 1,000 cards and still have stash left.
Can you knit/crochet/cross stitch? How about jewellery making? Have a mooch on folksy and see what inspires you.I :heartpuls M.S.E.

I'd love to see your crocheting Freudian, MIL does it and I think it's fab if you know how, big well done on geting the shop side of things sorted, one less thing to do

You know Elysia I think you hit the nail on the head, I have no space. I need to spend some time clearing out the house, alot of it is stuff that would take more time and hassle to sell than it's worth so it's just not been done
I wanted to do fingerprint jewellery, but after researching the process It's not something I could do i nside the house, need an open ventilated space and we don't have a garden. Would love to do something which is quite involved with designing. My uncle years ago made abstract animal necklaces out of silver, they were amazing, I lost the one he gave me sadly but I love the idea of doing something like that. I guess that's a business venture not a craft lol.. I need something in between really. If I can get a good idea, I can make the space
Love your cards, they are so pretty and I love the detailing. I would be no good with cards, I have a tendancy to lose things and would end up finding ribbons and buttons in random places years down the line lolComping wishlist for 2017

Didnt get a lot out of it but the stamps were handy and used to get a voucher every now and then. Sent me a £5 voucher to pay me off and asked if I would keep doing it until it wore down, I thought well up yours lol and have put everything in one of their envelopes and will post it back anything else that comes will go in the bin. Cant be bothered with it.
The flipping cheek of them, i do that as well, sometimes you almost feel like saing is it worth the damm stamps.

Taking inspiration from your thread, I decided to put a Tie that I made for my Dad many years ago, up onto Ebay. Well its not a broken or damaged thing, just a bit of a white elephant. (Actually colourful parrots but!). My Dad was having a clear out of his ties, for a project thats over on the sewing thread, but this one tie is a bit outlandish for the rest of the ties I have to use. We will see.
While I was at it, I put on a couple of my bags.
I will get a tin organised for putting away my pennies. (other then the ones that DGD snaffles for her box).
I will also start to use an old Nationwide savings book that hasnt been touched in about a decade, and use that for my Christmas Funds. I am only 5 months behind the start but every penny saved is a penny gained. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
