received my first Viva payment today yay . Now just to wait for paypal to transfer it to my bank account and then I can store that away in the christmas fund! Really enjoying seeing it grow knowing that all of the money is money I 'made' so anything I buy with it is money neutral!

The job interview today was more of a meeting with the recruitment company. We had a nice chat about what Im looking for etc and then he said the position I originally applied for was all full! Damn! He said the company regularly recruits though so he will keep my info on file to send to them once they start recruiting again. I asked how long he thought that might be and he said maybe end of the month or next month. So was a little disappointed by then he called at 5pm to say he had had a chat with the client and they had another position that they felt I would be suitable to and could he send my cv (of course I said yes!). The first stage is a phone interview so fingers crossed for a call! Going to swot up on the company later tonight me thinks just to try and be a little prepared!

Had a good day today, have had my first survey on the p one, and have easily done another £7 worth over the other sites today. I feel like I've been glued here today, so I'm logging off early tonight.

Morning all

I managed a few SN surveys yesterday and today, didnt qualify for anything else except one that kept going wrong and was propelling me back pages every now and then having to redo them again and again untill in the end I gave up.

Still only on 59 gold stars on WH lol. Mind you spent most of yesterday upstairs sewing.

Well done Rufus. Have you finished your cushion covers yet? I'd love to see them. I wish I could sew like you. I bought lots of Cath Kidston squares to start some patchwork, but I have no hope - I can't even sew a straight line LOL

Have had no surveys in my inbox as yet, but I find I get loads on Fri afternoons, so there's still time.

Elysia - I have finished the fronts and backs of the cushions but havent put them together yet, havent got any pads either yet. Hoping to get the covers done today once I get going upstairs. One of the bags I made for the shop is from Cath Kidston fabric what I had left over from making my own bags. Others are just from recycled curtains. Need to find a way of taking nice photos of the bits, might be better taking them in the garden with a white sheet or something, awkward taking a pic of a bag without the handles flopping and making it look naff.

its been a long night got about 2 hours sleep ,daughter has a sick/poo bug thing
not nice! i have no clean bedding left and on the 4th wash of the day
so don't know how much i will get done today
thought i'd nip on say hi, and check emails while she's asleep on the sofa, bless her she always looks so sad when she's poorly

good news got my paypal redeem
and all but 1 ebay have been paid [theres always 1 lol] got about 5 to post today then thats all done

elysia im ok at sewing [not as good as rufus she's fab] and im going to do a patchwork by hand , i figure if its not exactly straight it will add to the shabby chic look :rotfl:give it a go you might suprise yourself

my mission this weekend is to take photos of my makes
then figure out how to get them on here lol
i'd like some opinions before i go into the big bad world of selling
is that allowed?
