Giggles – sorry to hear you didn’t get the job. I always find things happen for a reason. When I’ve been really disappointed about not getting a job or an offer accepted for a house etc, it’s always turned out for the best as something even better happens.

Rufus – could you do both, have prices for the cover on it’s own and with the inner? That way it gives people the choice.

Kec – sorry to hear about everything you’re going through but I’m so glad you seem more positive today. We’re all here anytime you need a chat. Have you listed his stuff on Ebay yet?!

I’m off to the doctors tomorrow morning to tell her I’m pregnant :D. Hopefully I'll be booked in to see the midwife soon and things will get rolling. These first few months seem to drag as nothing much happens, although my belly does seem to have popped out already, I look 4 months pregnant, not 6 weeks . It's getting pretty hard to hide it at work, I'll probably tell the staff in a few weeks but I don't want to tell my class until I've had my scan, I'm not sure how realisitic that is though as I'm sure they're going to ask soon, children aren't known for their tact and subtlety!

That's not funny!! There are twins on both my Mum and my Dad's side. Also, many years ago I had my fortune told by a gypsy. I'm usually quite sceptical but the first thing she said to me was 'You're a teacher' so that got my interest straight away (and no, I wasn't wearing my name badge from work!). She then told me I would have 2 pregnancies but 3 babies, 1 first then twins  I guess we'll see in a couple of months, better get on with this money making just in case!!

Savvy - Glad the tutorial went ok, I found it made it more real, and good to put a name to the tutor.

Nicky - That is freaky, you never know it could be twins! I wish u lived nearer, I read palms, so funny a couple of years ago, at DDs school fete, and I ended up reading this ladies palm and I told her she'd have 4 children, she said I've got 3 no more, 2 months - she came up and said - your right just found out expecting, wasn't planned!!
Another friend, yrs ago, we were on holiday, and she was one of the entertainers, start of the season, read her palm, saw another child, it was no!! when we went back end of season - yes she was expectin!!

Had a really good night last ngt with the show, I loved DD wasn't too sure, it was an Abba tribute, it was great to get out.

Had a nice surprise today, found 3 bags worth of presents in the corner in mums room, there not been allocated - so that def help with christmas lists.

Kec - As Susan said you have to keep kissing frogs to find a prince, its not your fault honestly, some reason we have a inbuilt radar that attracts us to the wrong men, and we blame ourselves. My past chequered,
When I was 24, I met this taxi driver, guess more flattered than anything, within a couple of months his true colours showed through, I was stupid enough to forgive him, - he'd stole from me, tried getting phone contract in my name, loans etc, even had sky fitted in. I always remember that it was a free for 28days that time 24 month contract. We split up just before the month ended on sky, and he begged to keep the sky and he would pay me every month, guilable me, believed him, luckly I had a very sensible friend. She did everything, cancelled my bank (he'd stollen cheques half way and back of the book), changed phone numbers, and the sky saga - this was the best - he had 8 mates round to watch a big football match on sky, and no signal, he rang sky they told him it had been cancelled and the police were on there way to remove it.
I even had the story published in More magazine, got £50 for it, a lot 16 yrs ago!!

Next relationship, - rebound, - the barman from my local pub, he was 4 yrs older than me, he picked up the pieces from the broken relationship, he had a drink problem, - but I kept feeling that I could help him change, I'd lost track of the times I'd be in the pub on a Sunday waiting to go for a day out, as Sunday was his only time off, - we stayed together for 2 yrs, at christmas, it was me buying his families presents, the bdays etc. he just never comprehended reality, there was one ocassion my friend was going away, and she'd had her flat broken into before, so asked would we look after and he could stay over, - he run up £300 phone bill phoning !!!!!! lines. I'd lost count the number of times that he'd fallen asleep drunk in pubs, indian restaurants etc. He use to say he drunk because of my weight, he would flirt, bring up past girlfriends who were slimmer etc,
    Theres 2 memerable incidents-

1st - he'd really peed me off met me from work on a fri ngt, he was drunk, gone for an indian and he'd fallen asleep, the staff were use to it, - I'd had enough so got lipstick, drew all over his face, his bald patch and along his hairline. Woke him up, drove him home as normal. He obviously hadn't looked in the mirror, went to work on the Sat - his boss paniced they called an ambulance, when the ambulance came - they discovered it was lipstick.

2nd - the night we split up, we'd gone for a meal and ended up argueing, I got hold of his wine, as if to throw it over him, he said you wouldn't do that me, no i wouldn't waste a glass of wine - so I stood up picked up the bottle and poured it over his head - dripped over his shirt and trs (had beige chinos on), I walked out, - he even had the cheek to ring me and ask if I'd pick him up. (I didn't).

Same mistake with DD's dad - another frog, but this time was stronger, as I'd bumped into ex (wine one) and he desperatelty wanted children, he'd apparently changed, I knew that it wasn't going away with him, so I agreed to go for a meal as friends, the 1st he did ordered a bottle of wine - he asked me to take him back, nobody had stayed around as long as I had, sorry for what he did etc etc, it would have been so easy to of just gone back, it would have been like a pair of comfy slipper, but I didn't. Ok DD dad is a t w a t, and we're currently fighting through courts now, but I'm stronger, i've learnt that its not my fault, ok i'm not perfect, but I'm not responsible for their problems.

Yes I'm single, theres been a bit of romance over the years, but never long enough as I've not wanted them to be one long term, thou a holiday romance I had in 2005, I'm still in touch with the guy as friends, maybe if he lived closer, be different, he's 250 miles away. Your not to blame, your prince hasn't arrived yet, your still young, you've got your whole life ahead of you. At the mo Miss Hoodies favourite saying is, life begins at 40, hey mum thats you!!

Forget changing the nappies - I'll take one off your hands. :D After having DD1 as an only child until 12, when I had DD2, I wanted to have another straight away, so she wouldn't be lonely like DD1 was, but OH refused at the time. Came off pill five years ago and nothing. :( At least I got my two special girls, but I would have loved to have a little boy.
