    Morning all

Will have another check on Viva. Kept trying WH yesterday while doing other things but my computer is so slow the thing kept crashing. I did have a few little wins though but for some reason I mainly win on the points games and not the stars! Typical.

I managed to redeem on MyS this morning, only a fiver Amazon but will help in the long run.

Not sure what to do about OH's present for his birthday. I had it all set to get him his surround sound he wanted (I have enough vouchers to buy it now) but I expect I am being a bit silly over this but for my birthday he bought the foot for my machine I had asked for and a dvd and that was it, came to about £40 altogether. I am thinking may be to hold on and get the surround sound for Christmas as we tend to buy dearer presents then for each other. Only thing I am worried about it in case any of these sites go bust between now and then will I still be able to use the vouchers? I dont want to put them all in my Amazon account or I might be tempted to dip in and use them. Some of the sites are ok because they actually email you the voucher so I can leave it in my email until I use it but T and TCB just put the voucher codes up on their sites these days. I can copy them down but what if they do go bust? I know it sounds silly to say it but there have been a lot of cashback sites gone bust over the last couple of months, some that I thought would never disappear and I lost quite a bit of money from them all added together. What would you do anyone? Shall I just put the codes into Amazon and try not to spend them? My Dad often asks me to get him a dvd or cd from Amazon, he gives me the money but means the voucher money would go down. Decisions, decisions lol.
  • Morning all, no sunshine here I'm afraid, was going to go out but the weather has put me right off.

Have had a good morning, redeemed again on viva :) and have 20k points added on loony so I'm going to try and do a few surveys, I haven't had much motivation with them recently. Will try and give SN a go again, although it can be very tedious at the best of times.

Rufus, once you have vouchers they wont be taken off you. I just put mine in my amazon account as I worry that someone could randomly generate codes to find which vouchers have been issued and not redeemed yet. With regards to hubby's present I would split the difference. so if he spent £40 on you but the item he wants is £100, then allocate him £70 and spend the extra £30 on yourself, you did work hard for the vouchers so you should treat yourself too :)

Hope everyone has a lovely day whatever they decide to do :)

Thanks Savvy, I am going to take your advice and put all my vouchers on Amazon and done with it. I my Dad asks me to buy him something then I will put the money away in my savings and try to keep hold of it. I am also going to tell him nearer the time that if he wants to order a surround sound from Amazon I will pay £70 towards it in vouchers. He usually get money from his family for his birthday so he should be able to do it. That way I can keep hold of some of the vouchers towards Christmas, Rufus xx

Awesome when that happens isn't it Rufus :) I bought the OH a couple of things for Valentines / late xmas and it was a lovely feeling not spending my own money.

Redeemed £25 Amazon on Msurvey today and on SN too. AND my first survey tracked on viva, I'm now at £1.85 lol

I've decided I'm going to make homemade gnocci with chicken, tomato and mascarpone sauce for dinner tonight, one of my favourites
Dribbling my way to £11k... so far £653.69/£11000

Oooh Twinkle that sounds nice. I'm fed up of eating the same things week in week out, so thanks for the inspiration to try something new. :)

Kec - I'm so sorry I didn't comment on your post last night. You must have posted just as I started typing and I missed it :(. Anyway, so sorry that you are feeling low. Scream and shout on here any time you like - you too Twinkle. I hope the tabs kick in soon, and that you both feel on top of things again.

Twinkle - Hong Kong??? Why, what, when where and who??????? How did that come about? I'm jealous now - I'm only going to Newquay. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I hope you have a fab time, the rest and the break will hopefully do you the world of good. :)

On viva - there is a survey about airports - three times I've done it now (successive days) and it gets to the last question and nothing registers. Just a warning - don't bother with that one. ;)

I signed up to do mystery shopping again. :) I got a job but realised I'm supposed to do it next week (when I'm on holiday). I got home from our day out and released the job so someone else can do it, and there was a better paid job for where we've been today. Typical!!!

I saved the article I wrote for the test in word, but re-reading it today, it doesn't sound as good as I hoped. I don't think I'll get anywhere with that. It was hard trying to fit all the info into 100 words when on most articles you can get 400. I don't hold out much hope. :(

Rufus - wow. Well done hun. :) I agree with Savvy - you should spend that extra £30 on buying yourself something - that way both you and OH will have had £70 the same. :D Did you have a good day anyway? I hope you did.

Twinkle and Kec I hope you start feeling better soon (((hugs)))

Hong Kong sounds wonderful Twink, it will be a great experience, you learn alot about yourself travelling away and seeing other cultures, places. I hope you have a great time.

I had a one minute survey on buying flowers/plants, easy enough to get through and I enjoyed it, completed questionairre fully and it wasn't credited. Still I redeemed today, hopefully I can keep up this pace :D

Hope you had a lovely day out with the family Elysia, t's good to get away from the laptop every now and then isn't it :p was supposed to go out today but it loked so cold and gloomy I stayed in and sulked instead :rotfl:We have planned to go to the Harester on Friday to treat dd though and to soft play, not sure if in that order or not yet though lol.

I occasionally do mystery shopping too, I have two I use, one for petrol and the other for takeaways/quick shopping trips. Have you been with any reliable ones? I wonder if you wouldn't mind could you possibly pm me as I'm quite keen to do a few more shops.

I tried to do some surveys through SN but they use the same ones as viva, so I didn't qualify for more than one on SN, anybody else found this?

I been planting seed, 100`s of them, dont hold outmuch hope but its worth a try, we did have one of those plastic greenhouse things, but it had a tardis moment and flew away

glad to see you all cracking on with the fund raising, been slacking lately

But I been making cards and crafting more, I became a bit of an internet addict so have eased off abit

OHhhh Elysia - mystery shop, have I missed something?

Savvy like the way you delegate the money for things, perhaps I should have a go at that....
