Hi Jena - thanks for the update and the info on SB - I'll look into that later.
LEGEND - I MISSED YOU HUN. (big hug).
Hiya ladies (and any lurking gents). How's things? Viva has come good - I managed to earn £7 over the weekend so 1 more and I'm at redeem - Savvy you jammy wotsit, how have you managed to redeem so many times? I must have done the same survey over and over to get that £7, but it was worth it to cashout so soon.
Jena - well done on winning the biggie at Woohoo. I'm at 150 now, but can't play now I'm on my dongle. Something about restricted access because it's gambling even though there's no money involved.
Good luck with the move Esmer.
Well done everyone else.
I had a good weekend, lots of sunshine.Today is Emily's birthday. I have a 20 yr old daughter now - Help - I feel ancient!!!
Well done to everyone doing DTD - I only did it twice. There isn't a tesco local enough to me to do lots of little top up shops, and me just doing the one weekly shop asda bargains cancel tesco's out, so I don't get any DTD.Good luck to you all though.

Hello Starry eyed. I think all vouchers/gift cards have some sort of expiry date, Love2Shop vouchers do but it is approx 2 years. Amazon vouchers expire after 1 year. I've just received a Love2Shop voucher from Surveyfriends and the expiry date is 31.03.13. I don't have any other vouchers on me at the moment so can't double check.
Thanks, I will check when I get them0 -
Whittards of Chelsea has 20% off some items on their website - but there is a voucher code for a further 25% off plus free p+p. WC24P. HTH
OH doesn't like chocolate so I bought him a big tub of Jelly Belly Beans, I also got some posh chocs for a neighbours 60th, and some jelly belly for the kid's Grandad for fathers day, and came to less than £15.
ETA: just checked my email and I've had a code for friends and family for £10 clothing/watches/shoes off a £40 spend @ Amazon. It all helps. xxxI :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Thanks for the letting us know about Whittard Elysia, I forgot all about that site but will keep an eye on it for more offers over the next week, that's good that the amazon code also covers things like jewellery and shoes I deleted my email as I wasn't planning on buying clothes. I think I must qualify for more surveys in the part of the country I live in or something, it's a bit too good to be true at the moment, keep thinking there ust be some catch somewhere. Hope your dd had a lovely Birthday!
:bdaycake:
Glad to hear the house move is well under way esmer, sounds like you are super organised!
Well done on your vouchers and redeems Jena :T I'm enjoying WB too, getting there slowly but surely but it's lovely to see I have won every now and then, cheers my day upComping wishlist for 2017

Hi! Lurker turned poster for anyone of a Thrifty Gifty disposition who has had it to the eyeballs with the cute fluffy yellow ducks.
Get this book from the library:
Zombie Felties: How to Raise 16 Gruesome Felt Creatures from the Undead [Paperback]
ISBN-10: 0740797646
ISBN-13: 978-0740797644
The Duckie is both cute & somewhat gruesome. Who do you know who would appreciate the backhanded delights of a Zombie Easter Duckie? :easter:
My 10 year old DS whose sewing experience consists, so far, of two scout badges made a disconcertingly good job of the Thrilla (Michael Jackson zombie), but we now have come up against "& what shall we Do with it"? As Granny really wouldn't appreciate the red felt head injury. I think I shall add a loop of fishing line & keep it for a Christmas Tree decoration...0 -
Yay, I had some good news this morning, the insurance I took out with Morethan back in June last year has finally paid up and Quidco are sending me the £50 in next payment run. Didnt think I was going to get this. OH said the other day he is due to get his new car insurance soon and if his present company doesnt give him a good offer he will change that so hoping he will wait and let me do that too, though think I will go through TCB this time as nothing else doing on Quidco now.
Have day off from sewing so thought I would catch up on everything, no surveys to do lol, typical isnt it. Have got a DY review done though so that will help things a bit. Off out to do the garden in a bit as didnt get out there yesterday, spent the day sewing.
Edited to add - I have been a member of Mutual Points for a few years now, was doing the daily clicks on there but they seem to just about have dried up but just thought this morning, might be ok if any of you want to join up as they send you emails quite regularly which some are surveys where you can earn extra points by doing them and some are just click the link on the bottom of the survey and you get 5 points added. You can also add your Visa card and get points for shopping in certain shops but there are not any that I would shop at regularly so dont bother with this. You need 30000 points to redeem and they send you a cheque for £20. It mounts up quite quickly if you manage to do the surveys.0 -
legend I have been missing from here as long as you have so no hope of me reporting in:rotfl:
jena well done on winning on WB:j I am getting there slowly!
rufus well done on getting your insurance tracked with quidco:j
glad to hear the move is going well esmer. it will be fab for your dd to have a garden:j
savvy you are right about the dtd support group:D
I have only had two surveys on viva and was screened out of both of them:(
well OH went to the doctor's last week and was given antidepressants. he had his big inspection on Thursday and went back to the gp yesterday. she has signed him off work (he is a teacher and only had 4 days to go before the holidays). maybe I am just not being very understanding but I can't see what he is achieving by being at home. he has tidied the house this morning but that's not the point! and what happens after the holidays when he has to go back to work?saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0 -
Bunbun - Maybe he just needed a couple of extra days for the meds to kick in. You have to think what he is going through too. You've both had a rough time with DS's diagnosis. Maybe he thinks it's all his fault.
With Viva - sign in every day - even several times a day. There's always loads on there to do - if you get screened out of the first one, you just keep going until they say there's none left - A bit like Snetwrk.
Done loads of surveys today so I'm a happy easter bunny. Internet working off and on, so I'm not here as much as I should be, but I'm still money making.
Have a good afternoon everyone.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Elysia, when I go on to viva I only have one survey and i always get screened out. Never mind, will keep checking. Had a day down stairs today so got a few bits done on here, updated my spreadsheet and did all my sites, found I had a load of points added on T this afternoon so have managed to redeem for another Amazon voucher, thats three now I am waiting for from them. Did manage to do quite a few surveys this afternoon from a load of emails I was sent so kept myself busy.
Doing same again tomorrow I expect as OH asleep again. Will get anothr review done and see whats happening on the survey front, might even get into T and the opinions again if I am really bored lol.
Thursday I am going to a Jumble sale round the old peoples home where ExMil lives. Dont expect I will find much but never know your luck, migth find something I can re-use in my sewing or use as a gift or even be able to sell on again. Have to remember to go up town on the way and get some money out lol as I am skint.
Forgot to add, Son gave me another £15 from his Ebay stuff I am doing for him and also received a cheque from Tesco Bank for £1.06 (the 6p was interest lol) which is from when I opened a savings bank with them ages ago (to get the £20 cashback), was thinking of using it but it was such a hassle to use, had to have this contraption at home to put numbers in etc, I couldn't get on with it so just forgot about it. Need to pay it in the bank when I go out.0 -
Rufus - I've just been on Viva. There was just the one link there, but after completing two surveys (through the same link) I got screened out of a further five.
but I've just been able to redeem.
Sometimes there is just the one link, and sometimes two or three, so keep checking.
Well done on getting a Mr T cheque - it might not be a lot, but 'every penny helps' lol.
I'm waiting for five on loony - so I'm getting frustrated that they aren't even processed yet, after all that hard work. I like to see the money in my pocket not theirs.Halfway to another and have a few surveys open, so not too long until another voucher hopefully.
I noticed earlier that I had enough to redeem on panelbse (I think it was that one) but I'm letting it mount up a bit, so will redeem before the end of the month.
Busy playing WH at the moment - and keep checking for more surveys. Never mind the kids, it's me who's bored. LOLI :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
