Just wanted to post a quick warning regarding ebay. I was going to sign in but their login page has been replaced with a phishing page according to my virus guard! Definately a problem with Ebay and not my comp as I have run malware bytes, hijack this and my virus software which all come back clean.

Evening all, hope everyone is well.
I am still really really busy with work, feel exhausted so after my good deed Friday I haven't done any more surveys, going to try in a min though. Had some points added on T finally and still have 5 projects open, over half way to redeem now and still have 2 vouchers pending.
I have got a problem buyer on ebay now :( Got one item bid on from the things I listed at the weekend.
Made some triple choc chip muffins on Sunday, they came out really well, think they were the best muffins i have made, also done some cupcakes with icing and lots of different decorations.
Aiming to completely pay off the credit card in 2012!

    APRIL 2011 - CHALLENGE*****

    1. Not money making but money saving - Double check you are in the correct council tax band

Checked and sadly I am on the correct band. Would have been nice to have a little refund. ;)

    2. We are concentrating on surveys this month -
I am quite good with doing this. The only time I pick is if I have been away for a few days and there are a ridiculous amount to go through.

    3. Are you still putting some of your shopping savings away?

Struggled to do this last month so am going to make sure I do it this time.

    4. Fun Challenge

Have been planting out my seeds this year for our veg patch, promised the children their own patch this year so got them a potato grow bag from our local cheapy shop and they have now planted out courgette, carrot, onion and parsnip. They are very excited about keeping it watered etc.

Having a great month so far with quite a few surveys being completed and items listed on ebay last weekend already have bids so that's looking good.

Off topic but still money making. I have been accepted on a child minding course which will teach me all the business and practical side of things. I will start 28th April, do every thurs for 11 weeks and then be at the inspection point. I already have 1 child a few months older than twins on my waiting list for Sept and 1 poss baby so know it is worth doing. The course is costing me just £30 with the other £470 funded and if they are impressed there is a chance they will also fund me doing a level 3 NVQ in childcare next year. Very excited. Will help us so much if I am able to bring a wage into the house again.

    Hope all are well today.
    Take care

Well done on the surveys and redeems everyone, great start to April :)

Well done on getting on the course stepmum, and for getting partial funding too :T With the world being the way it is it's definitely a great time to be learning. I hope it goes really well for you.

sparkleychel - I wasn't affected by the virus they had before luckily but ebay was acting odd the other week and I think somethings happened as a result of that. I did send a message to the buyer but the message was failed due to me sending the message from her email apparantly, very concerning. I'm not sure what has happened but the over-reacting side of things makes me wonder if she phished my details when ebay was acting funny the other week, did something to my account and bid on one of my items as some sort of a scam? Ok a bit OTT I must admit but somethings not right. I have decided to not respond simply because the message bounces back :(

Hope everyone is well today, hope your buyer isn't being difficult kec hun ((hugs)).

Also spotted on freebies board - Free beetroot seeds, hopefully they come quickly so I can do the challenge :D Can I grow beetroot on a window cill? I guess there's only one way to find out...

Savvy. I've seen someone grow beetroot in a pot before on their balcony. It was a large one, the size of a bucket, and they also had radish in there, with some spring onions, and lettuce. It was like a salad, you just pick what you need, the lettuce will grow some more leaves, so that's quite a good one. Thanks for the egg voucher.

I've been a good girl and got the front garden sorted this morning - boy am I going to ache tomorrow. The back one is a disgrace though. I'll get Elysia out planting later. She has a 1 metre square raised bed which is on the patio. Last year she grew onions, beans, strawberries, tomatoes, and blackberries. The slugs ate all the peas, and the peppers didn't do too well. I've just bought a Kiwi plant (from Wilko's but it was reduced, as it was half dead - it only needed a bit of water, it's ok now).

I've done all the surveys in my inbox too - I got a 9,000 one off T first thing, and managed to do the whole thing for a change. I also managed to redeem on VO and got a Marks voucher too. Well done Stressed. I have roughly £9 pending, so just need another one or two there.

I also received another £5 amazon off Activia. I was giving that up, as they seem to pay when they feel like it, where it should be every month. It's not difficult talking about yoghurt but you have to log in regularly and when they don't pay properly it puts you off. I will keep it up this month as part of the challenge though.

Toluna - I have five vouchers processing still from December until recently, they are always late, but I've never know them take over four months before. It's all ok, don't worry - as long as they're here before October, that's all that matters. :D

Aspella - Opinion outpost is another site I thought of, and Consumer intelligence, but that one the survey is anything from two to eight minutes and you go into a draw for an amount. I got £6 paid into my paypal last week, and I haven't done many, so the chances are quite high I suppose.

Here's a more recent list of survey sites (feb) if it's any good to anyone. Please ask if anyone can refer you first, if that's ok.

Right, I'm off for now. Will be back after delivering the Avon, and fingers crossed, that will be it for the next few weeks, if everyone is home, and pays on time. :D

See you later - take care xxx

Spoke too soon, the buyer has opened a claim now stating she sent pictures of the stain to me via email, which of course wasn't the case. Stated that she want's a replacement. I really hate dishonest buyers, funny enough she refused to provide her telephone number. I bet she's going to damage the item and send it back. Wish I hadn't have bothered. Shame you cannot choose your buyers eh?

Thanks for the info Elysia, think I will pop to the garden centre and see what will wrk well for growing in the kitchen, we have no back garden here, not until we move to the next house hopefully soon, maybe tomatoes or spring onions :p Well done on your vouchers/redeems and getting the garden sorted! We spent today deep cleaning the house...
