  • Hi everyone. Thank you so much for your replies. Have taken your advice and written an e-mail and saved it to see whether I send or not. It felt good to get it out in the open by telling you guys.
Mum2one sorry your friend has treated you like that over your birthday.

Spent most of today up at the hospital again, lots more bloods etc taken and no further on, still waiting for scan results.

Esmer - how beautiful are your cakes. I could never in a million years create something like that. I manage to burn most things including toast lol!

Well done everyone for keeping up with surveys etc. and well done mum2one on all your vouchers, nice feeling isn;t it when it starts adding up.

Hugs to anyone needing them today, and keep up the good work everyone.

Its easy........... If it gets to runny, then add a bit more icing sugar, gets too thick a little bit of hot water from the kettle :)

    Ingredients

    125g of softened butter

    250g of Icing sugar

2tbls hot water from the kettle

    1tbls Vanilla essence

    Method

Cream butter until its really pale and fluffy, add in vanilla essence.

Add in the icing sugar. beat until smooth and fluffy and you get small peaks standing up if you lift the whisk out. If its too stiff then add in a tablespoon of the hot water and mix again, if too runny then add in more icing sugar.

    Notes

For chocolate icing, replace 25g of the icing sugar with 25g of cocoa.

Its on my blog to <

I have sugarflair liquid dyes for food. They are really thick, and you only need a spot for the colouring :) I wanted baby pink once and used too much and got this :rotfl:

Mum2One - That is really sly! Cant believe that! Some friend eh? Mu Mum is my best friend and since having DS I think I ring her every night now!

Esmer - I actually hate you, in the nicest possible way, I will post some pics of my cupcaes late but use the back of a spoon for the icing so no nice swirly icing for me!

Hope everyone is well I have been very busy Ebaying my Mums stuff and cannot belive the price on postage! I undercharged on loads and sent people a message after asking for an extra £1 or £2 as it had cost me more to post and only 1 nice bloke has contacted me and paid a bit more! Wouldnt mind but everything was new in packs for example somebody got a double duvet set for £6 when stickered £30 on it! They paid postage of £3 and it cost me £4.41 so I asked for an extra £1 and heard nothing back! Been selling on Facebook too and what a great idea! We have a group for our town and I have sold a fair bit on there!
Mum is a the original Legendmum as she has said whatever I make to keep for a washing machine as before we agreed I would get a fee from her depending on how much I make by selling all her bits and now she insists I keep it all! Thing is all her stuff is going to come to a good £100+ so feel really bad but she wont let me say no! KILLING me not having a washing machine!
Just put in for £5 from mysurvey so £110 in Amazon now! Woohoo!
